I normally LOVE taco casa and drive 45 minutes ti an hour to come and get some of the best tacos. I arrived at this location at 7:28 and pulled into the drive thru. I sat in the drive thru with no greeting until I said hello at the speaker. Someone said ya in response. I asked if they were still open and she said ya. I then waited for them to ask for my order or say order when ready unsure if they were short staffed and swamped inside the restaurant. And nothing but dead air. I asked if she was ready she said she was waiting on me to order. I drove around and went inside to order. It was dead inside a lady was walking around in her phone saw me at the counter walked up didn’t greet me or say anything. She just looked at me. I was unsure if maybe she didn’t speak so I asked she was ready for my order and she spoke and said I was waiting on you and rolled her eyes. I ordered my food. A simple order of 3 taco lites. She didn’t ask if I wanted anything else or a drink she just looked at me. I said that was all and she told me my total. I opened my wallet and realized I left my cash in the car. I did apologized and explain and went right out to my car that right out side the doors. I came right back in and handed her a $20. She gave my my change and told me what my change was but didn’t say another word. I figured maybe she was shy. But she walked over to the last making my order and was laughing and joking with her. When my food was done she walked over handed me my food and didn’t say another word. I waited a moment and then asked if there was a manger on duty the lady who helped me shook her head and told her coworker who made my food to deal with me she wasn’t going to deal with me and the lady who made my food said no it was just the two of them in the restaurant even tho I was a man in a polo shirt with the logo on it walk in and speak to them as he walked into the back while I waited. I asked when the manger would be in so I could call she said 8-3 tomorrow. The lady who took my order just keep shooting me Lois and shaking her head. I ask for her name and she said it was in the receipt and walked away.I have NEVER been so disrespected at the location or ever had an issue. I love to make the drive and come get food because the staff is normally so friendly and the food is great.I’m not sure if it’s because I am an over weight white woman with purple hair. But I really did try and stay calm and give the lady several chances to just be respectful and treat me like a human being.I will be calling the manager tomorrow.My food was good and right as least.

I don’t usually leave reviews but the cashier ( friendly older black lady working on 4/3/2024 @1pm) gave the best customer service I ever had a taco casa. Please give her a raise. This is coming from someone who moved here from the north Dallas area where these places are everywhere. Food was good as it always is and the building was the cleanest taco casa I’ve ever seen!!!

I have put this location on my do not eat list! They are always slow. The vibe you get from the location is that of one of uncaring. Not sure how they keep the food, safe and fresh since they’re always slow. The rest of my family will still eat there on occasion, however, refuse!! Eat at your own risk

I literally tried to dine in right now with my family as a first timer here and the lady stated we could not eat inside when they close at 10 and it’s barely 6:30 sorry but I will never come to this location ever again do not come here god bless that lady that told me I couldn’t eat there

Great tacos stuffed completely full. Super friendly staff. And they have coupons too! Really impressed with this place. We've already become regulars.Have been dozens of times in the last year, kids still enjoy it.//UPDATE: Changing review to 2 stars (from 5 stars) I think the location has changed hands and I have to say the quality of the food is slipping badly. Order has been wrong a couple of times now and the tacos now are definitely getting very skimpy where they used to be REALLY full. We're probably done going here to be honest. Can no longer recommend it to friends and family. Sad.Update #2: Son wanted to try this place again after a couple of bad experiences. Good was actually fresh and tasty and the tacos were back to being filled as you'd expect. Moving the review back to 4 stars. Would like to see some consistency with the quality of the food.Update:3 - went Wed Feb 21 at 9:15p. Couldn't get anyone to answer the drive thru, had to pull up and wait. After 10 minutes we started honking because Google said it was open until 10p. Food was garbage. The bean burritos were completely inedible. Absolute garbage. Tasted like cigarette butts. We threw 3 of them in the trash. Tacos were barely filled. Worst meal we've had in several months. Will call and complain tomorrow. This was a terrible experience.

I think my meat was missing the seasoning! I grabbed lunch while heading back to Austin, so I didn't start eating until I was already on the highway but I ordered 2 mild meat burritos and crunchy taco ( but got a soft taco :( )and it just tasted like ground beef with salt and pepper. I waited in the drive thru for 5 plus minutes so they could have been making it fresh and with the rush missed some steps. I was extremely bummed because I love Taco Casa!
