The food here was just okay, but nothing memorable. I ordered the birria burrito and it really lacked flavor, even with cheese on top, it was still missing that rich Latin taste you’d expect. Instead of refried beans, it was mostly plain black beans that didn’t add much. The quesabirrias and cheese quesadilla were also just average.
On top of that, the place had a mushy odor that wasn’t inviting at all, which really took away from the experience of eating in. The lack of cleaning was noticeable too and didn’t make it feel comfortable to sit and enjoy a meal.
Another downside was the plasticware. The forks were the flimsy, bendy kind you’d expect at a gas station, which made it frustrating to eat comfortably (see picture).
Overall, it wasn’t terrible, but definitely not a place I’d be excited to come back to

If you’re looking for flavorful birria this is the spot! The meat is incredibly tender, juicy, and full of rich, slow-cooked flavor. The consommé is everything you’d hope for savory, bold, and perfect for dipping. Lucy was very nice and helpful.
