It's your typical dive bar. The staff was amazing!! The atmosphere was fine. It maybe the only bar in Houston that still allows the patrons to smoke inside though, so be prepared for that. It gets very dense with smoke.

Went there once to visit Leslie Doak who is an old friend, since he was playing in a band there that night. Although bars and nightclubs aren't really my thing anymore, I would recommend this one since it's a pretty nice place to hang out with friends and listen to music.

I can't believe it took me almost 4 years to discover this place! First time in here tonight. Liz and Chester are above average bartenders. $2.50 for a domestic draft is unheard of in July 2022. Clean restroom. Polite, well-behaved patrons. This place is a hidden gem!!! I'll be back.
