This is a wonderful place for lunch and sweet treats. The staff and crew are even sweeter. Please give them an opportunity and try whenever you’re in the area!

Cute place with a comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich/broccoli cheddar soup/side salad combo. The food was a nice size portion, but just didn't have a lot of flavor. The homemade ding dong was great but all of the prices have gone way up.

Not transparent on pricing. Portions are big but they should have a smaller portion with a appropriately priced for lunch. I was charged extra for a cookie that was supposed to be included. Was charged a service fee too. Expensive lunch for two.

The Bake Shop Café is more than just a bakery—it's a legacy. My mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma started this little gem back in the 80s, and walking in today still feels like stepping into their kitchen. The air smells like memories—fresh bread, warm cinnamon, and love baked into every bite.

The fact that they’re still using our original family recipes is what makes this place so special. From the buttery pies to the flaky pastries and hearty comfort meals, everything tastes just like it always did. Somehow, it’s even better—maybe because it reminds me of the strong, incredible women who built it from scratch.

If you're ever near, stop in. Have a coffee, a slice of pie, and a little taste of history. This place isn't just serving food—it's serving stories, heart, and generations of love. ❤️

Tasty old fashioned Texas eatery. It's been here a long time and still feels like a classic.

The decor is amazing and worth a visit for the eye candy alone, but the bakery items and the food is not freshly cooked it seems like everything is just a big casserole that they cut out and microwave the next day or two we went right when they open at 11:00 and they did not even have fresh Bakery Goods out they had leftovers from the day before and it didn't smell like they were baking so they certainly don't get there early and bake fresh stuff so you would think that would be a busy day for them and they would have lots of fresh stuff ready to go when they open at 11:00

😡On December 22nd I ordered a pie for pickup on December 24th at 2 p.m. for a Christmas Eve function. When I went to pick it up, I was told that the order had been cancelled on December 23rd! I was never notified of this cancellation, so I was left to scramble that afternoon to find a suitable substitute. Terrible customer service!!!

Had a recommendation to try this place out. Only managed to try the desserts but will have to go back for a proper meal.

Not at all polite when I went in to pick up a preordered pie for Thanksgiving. They made it seem like it was an inconvenience for them and that a glitch on their website was something I should have known was wrong. I’ll order from somewhere else next time.
