I would give less than 1 star if I could. I ordered the 2 meat plate brisket for $26. Very over priced and disappointed. I thought ordering double I would get more meat. The staff said it's weighed out. I got the fatty because I didn't want dry meat Anyway, I gave them 4 chances since I moved to this area. I'm done, I will learn to cook my own. These restaurants are rip offs and don't care about giving you the best.

My Mom wanted BBQ, so I found this place on Google Maps. I was surprised it was in HEB. It's very clean and had lots of seating. Ordering was slow. The person at the register seemed like they had multiple responsibilities and there is already only 1 register with a person at it. You have to order via a self check out kiosk otherwise.
We both ordered the 1 meat plate which came with bread, 2 sides, sauce, pickles, and onions. I think the meat portion is small for what we are used to in TX. I thought the pictures of one slice of brisket was odd when I was ordering. Then my plate came and I understood. The brisket was moist and flavorful. My Mom enjoyed her 2 sides (beans and coleslaw). My collared greens and creamed corn were good. The creamed corn was a little spicy. Even with a smaller portion of meat, I'm excited to come back and try other items on the menu.
One thing about the bathroom, it needs to be cleaned more often. It looked like someone shaved in the sink.
I gave them around 4 chances before a review but this place is pathetic. It's a management issue cause you can tell the staff works so hard and remains polite amidst chaos. I've been there and they didn't have half of their main menu items but this time I ordered literally one sandwich and waiting half an hour and got a refund that took way too long to process. You think they'd offer a free side or something to someone who didn't get their food but they just gave me my refund and that's it. I'm done with this place. Always problems.
Edit: Well, I gave them a few chances recently and the service is great but the food is awful. Where are they sourcing it from? That prime brisket sandwich was more than half fat and the meat looked like guts inside the alien corpse in Independence Day. So I nibbled around the edges and threw the rest out. Ugh 🤢

Wow, the food was surprisingly good! We got the sausage and the fatty brisket. Everything was so good. The sausage, smoky and full of flavor. The brisket was juice and melt in your mouth tender. The sides consist of mac n cheese and cream corn. Both delicious but the mac n cheese was the star! I highly recommend this place!

I was really disappointed after trying the “Burnt E Mac” sandwich this past Friday. When the sandwich came out, it was so thrown together that I had to eat it with a fork and knife; I could not even pick the sandwich up. Not to mention, I received a coupon for the same sandwich today (Monday, October 7th) and look at difference of the photos! My sandwich only had 2 pieces of burnt ends; the majority of the sandwich was mac & cheese. I just feel like I got ripped off. This was the third time I have dined in and the only time I have had an issue.
