1st time here and the owner is super nice and thoughtful. We were waiting for our orders and he over heard our kids said "I'm thirsty" and he gave them 2 bottles of water. Need more owners like this. The food were great, definitely coming back.
I grew up in New Haven, Connecticut, where wood and coal fired pizza is a staple. When I found out Wood Fired Pizza Co. existed near me I was excited to try it.So I visited the other day for the first time. Waited about an hour for the pizzas, totally understandable, it's a small oven and you can only do so much at a time. Once I received them though I was a little disappointed. This my go-to local pizza spot when I have friends and family over that I want to impress a little bit. There’s no dine-in seating and it’s best to order from them directly and pick-up so you don’t get bent over by the higher prices from the delivery service menu. If you only try one thing on the menu, Kourtney’s Beef & Basil is my ride-or-die pie.
