This is our absolute go to place to eat in Dalhart. Martine is friendly and has the best food in town by far. I normally stick to a dish I like but I have been trying new things every visit and seems the dishes keep getting better and better. It's casual dining, a laid back place. We come in at least twice a month. There are also pool tables and boom box available for use next door. Beer and mixed drinks available as well
We're passing thru the area and needed a bite. This place was exactly what we were looking for. The staff is friendly and the dishes were so flavorful! We would stop here again, for sure.
Driving through town and wanted some food. Saw this place and the reviews were decent. However there was no one in the place at 7:00 on a Saturday night. This should have told us enough to turn around and walk out. But we preserved and had decent food. The chips were cold and stale, but the entree's were mostly good. Some excess grizzle in the carne asada was disappointing. The bathrooms were disgusting, we ended up going back into town to find gas station bathrooms. Will...
