“This is just like going to an old dinner ! Very clean, the help are very nice and friendly AND THE FOOD IS VERY ! We are from New Mexico (45 miles away) and stop there every chance we get!!!”

“Hubby and I got brisket and ham ... came with potato salad, coleslaw, beans, Texas toast, and two onion rings. So good! Even their unsweetened iced tea was good! New fave bbq for when we travel north.”

“I have eaten there 3 times now and their Chicken Fried Steak is awesome. had it twice. no other Cafe around can complete with it. their biscuits and gravy was delicious with eggs, has browns and bacon. all the waitresses have been so polite and your coffee cup is aways full. I met the owner and she is so sweet. very friendly yes the Cafe is out of the way but gems are not always out in the open for you to find. you have to look for this one but it is well worth the looking if you want some good cooking that is worth the stop.”

“Travelled thru Dalhart and called in Mexican food at La Cabana! We ordered kids meals and Adult entrees and it was all excellent! The super quesadillas were the best ever. We received excellent answers to all our questions and it was easy to order over the phone. The drive up window was perfect and the food was hot. Will definitely stop here again.”

“Food was good but atmosphere was better! Great place to watch the skies and planes. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is not Nashville hot, but rather buffalo sauce. Onion rings had a light and tender batter. Breakfast plates are large.”
