“Clean linens , decent water pressure. Not too much noise from the traffic as motel sits back from road and doors are on the side of the building not facing traffic . Bed seems very comfortable.”

“Greeted with smiles at the door! Promptly seated and initial order for drinks and appetizer taken. Served quickly and correctly! Owner stopped by to introduce himself and welcomed us warmly. Our server Ciela, took our dinner orders and got things rolling. Dinner rolls are great! Steaks cooked perfectly and excellent cuts. Finished up dinner and went over to the sports bar side. What a crowd! All smiles again! Sandy took our drink order and got to know us. Fantastic place! Get yourself a t-shirt while you're there! Plenty of parking and easy walk from several hotels. “Hidden gem in Dumas! My wife and I stopped here for dinner on a road trip and were not disappointed. Service was friendly and fast. Our meals were hot, freshly made and had a great depth of flavor. “We moved away from Dumas down years ago, & no one here in SETX makes the red sauce for sticky rice. Every time we come visit, we buy as much as we can to bring back home. Nothing compares to the treat of sticky rice & red sauce. It is 1 of the highlights of visiting our home town.”

“Placed order inside for takeout. Asked for condiments when ordering. Looked in bag when I got food. No condiments so had to ask again.. My sandwich and fries were good. However discovered they didn't give me my turnover (I should have looked through my bag better I guess). Needless to say I wasn't going to drive back through all the traffic here after driving 7 hours today. And they probably wouldn't have believed me by the time I got back there. Be sure to check your order carefully before you leave! The girl who rang me up was very friendly but distracted. No recourse for this as I'm just passing through...”
