Passing through on my way back to Colorado, had to stop to try this place and WOW! The food was AWESOME , service was wonderful and it made me miss home even more. I got tamales to take on the road. You must try this place. Atmosphere was festive and you could tell that there is a lot of heart and soul put into the food and experience. I will definitely be back next time I pass through❤️

1 star for the waitress service not the food . The tamales are very dry and very little meat and the soup and veggies are uncooked and hard. The sweet tea is BAD in which the waitress explained to us the boss isn't wanting to listen to the complaints made by customer. How this place has the rating it has I have no idea but I do recommend somewhere else. Being late we had to leave and go to subway cause the food was very bad . Waitress is sweet but service is rushed and forgetful and you don't get soda refills it's canned sodas if you want sweet tea it's sweeter with brownsugar syrup .

We stopped for lunch while driving to Wichita Falls as this was the halfway point. We are so glad that we did! The restaurant is casual and has great Mexican food.
The server recommended the mocajete Azteca, which was pricey, but delicious and well worth the cost. My wife had an asada quesadilla that was also very good. Portions are large and we'll prepared. Service was fast and friendly. Will definitely stop her again next time we're driving this way!
