Stopped on the way through and had a great grilled cheese and some of the best pimento cheese. Would have loved to stay and have brunch, as the owner says they have brunch every Saturday morning (mimosas, French toast, etc.). Neat shop with great food, tobacco shop, etc. Will definitely be stopping again on our way between Texas and Montana. Everyone was so nice to visit with!

To be honest, I've seen this place for the last year but have never seen pics of the food until a couple months ago. It looked so good in photos, I had to try it myself. I came in today had a sandwich on croissant bread and it was so good with the broccoli salad, also to die for. I can't wait till I can try their brunch specials. Great vibe and great food. Definitely a gem here in Dalhart Texas.

We were traveling and needed a quick bite. The coffee shop recommended this place. The owner was so nice and friendly. She makes old family recipes like chicken salads, broccoli salad, pasta salad, soup and pies! Very yummy! Will look forward to eating there again when passing through Dalhart!

I drive 45 miles every Saturday to go here and eat. The food is fresh and very flavorful, plus they have an assortment of gift items to buy. The owner is very friendly and carries on interesting conversations.

We stopped here during a cross country road trip, and it might’ve been the best food we had along the way. An absolute diamond in the rough (not many other options in the area beside chains), the sandwiches here were fresh and delicious, and the staff was super friendly. Next time I’m anywhere near Dalhart, I’ll make sure to stop in this town again, if only for Salt & Sage.

Stopped in for lunch for mom and I. The food is absolutely delicious. Our sandwiches were super fresh and I could eat I big bowl of that pasta salad. Atmosphere feels like home with friendly faces.

I just stepped in to grab a cake ball and had to try the fresh lemonade. Tastes just like mommas during the summer..

Excellent, friendly service and fantastic food. Pimento cheese was just like my mom's, and the grilled charcuterie sandwich was delicious. Highly, highly recommend stopping here.

What a small town Gem ?. Everyone needs to stop in and give this place a try! The food was fresh and amazing. It’s hard to describe how wonderful. Went back in for desserts for the family (pecan pie, chocolate pie, and 3 different types of cheesecake) definitely amazing. We will be back!
