Had stopped here before, but this time the food was nasty, meat was old, returned two tacos, and when refunded they refunded what they wanted, not the taxes charged or anything. The inside of the restaurant was filled with flies and just seemed dirty.

Out side looks closed/ unmarked. Inside is quaint and homey. Some deer on walls

Salsa y chips gratís.

Dont be a sissy they are spicy. Not the hottest I’ve ever had, but definitely have a really good kick. All the sauces were amazing. My favorite was the avocado, Crema salsa and the red salsa. I’m not certain maybe Chili’s de arbol.

The other two green salsa were also pretty tasty.

They have plenty of agua fresca( melon, mango. Pepino de limon(lime and cucumber, tamarindo, horchata)

The quesadilla al pastor is fireeeeeee. Cheesy and my god these ladies throw down. Ima marry one lol

The al pastor meat seasonig marinade is great.

The The sliced avocado that came with the fajita mix was great. I do wish there was more of it looks like a pretty decent amount of mixed meat so you get like beef. If you get some shrimp there’s like some chicken possibly even some pork too. The steak is a little on the thin side, but flavorful the shrimps are quite large and they’re perfectly cooked.

The rice was OK didn’t blow my socks off, but the flavor is good and the rice is not soggy nor is it like rock hard:).

The refritos(That’s going to be like you know refried beans that are all nice and mashed up)

Are also just OK, but they’re not the star of the show they’re just supporting actors and they did their own fine

All in all, I will come back here and try again, but I’m pleased to see that there’s actually quite a lot of shrimp on my mixed fajita plate. Most places use really tiny shrimp and you only get a couple. I would definitely say this place is worth the money which by the way, it’s very cost efficient. It is not expensive

I’d give him a 10 out of 10

Yeah, there’s no photos guys I demolished this..

Worst food EVER!!! Quesadillas were terrible. No veggies added, no salads, sour cream, nothing! For the amount of money they charge, it’s not worth it at all.

Don’t let the exterior fool you, this is the best Mexican joint in Dalhart. The tacos are flavorful, the quesadillas are fantastic and the burgers are surprisingly tasty. The salsa bar has some good options and I like the way they offer the tortilla chips there. This way you always get the right amount.

The inside is spacious and inviting. I can’t wait to go back.

We had good chicken fajitas here. The girl at the counter spoke limited English so getting extra things took some time and patience but we had a good experience here.

When we drove to the restaurant I was a bit reluctant because the outside does not look very inviting, however the inside is very welcoming. We got some Mexican sodas and they have a great variety of Mexican candy. We had the flautas and they were very good. My quesadilla was also good.

Authentic, delicious , and great service what else could you want. Oh yeah Mexican candy and sodas.. very clean inside. Definitely recommend- take it from a guy born in Mexico. Taste of home.

The food was good but the atmosphere was horrible. There are so many flies. It was cool seeing tomato flavored chips for sale at the counter. Also, there was a hot sauce area that was uncovered, meaning that flies could've gotten in it. That is a potential health risk. If you just care about the food, this is a solid option. If you want finer dining without dealing with flies and a potential health risk, go somewhere else.

Avoid this place. Worst Mexican food I ever ate. For the 50$ I paid for 4 tacos, quesadillas and salad and elote, the taste and quality was the worst. We threw all of it. I am shocked at the high rating of this place. So bad in all terms and to add they understand zero English, so difficult to understand and explain what you want and neither the total receipt.
Somewhat dirty and flies too.
Avoid!!!

I stop here every time I'm passing through Dalhart. Very good food.

Asada was a little grizzly, they brought out chili relleno with no sauce? Liked their salsa bar and the melon drink.
