My husband and I absolutely love this place! This was our last hurrah, quick getaway before the school year starts. As ALWAYS, we got the shrimp and crawfish fondeaux...our absolute FAVORITE!!!

The Alaskan crab is usually top tier, but this time it was OK….not great. Lots of body meet with a strange green tinge. Tasted a bit fishy. The usual 3 massive legs were way to small and missing some meat in places where there should be meat. The meat that was in the shell was difficult to remove. I feel like they where scraping the bottom of the crab barrel this time. 100 dollar crab plates should leave you with a smile and weak knees. The only reason we did not send it back was to help out our trainee waiter Chase. Pasta and salad were great.

Allergy friendly and went above and beyond! Mihon (server) was amazing courteous friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure I was taken care of and had a supervisor even came over to support her. Most items are fried with milk or cheese and was able to grill all my appetizers and the grill main was extremely tasty.

Saturday night, 9:14pm. “Maps”, TripAdvisor, and the website all say that Pappadeaux is open until 10pm on Saturdays. Wrong. We were told in an extremely dismissive way, at 9:14pm, that they were no longer seating anymore tables. Truly disappointing — and rude. Fortunately, the next door Pappasito’s menu has some seafood items. Pappasito’s also closes at 10pm; they sat us at 9:31pm.

Lovely lunch to indulge this wonderful seafood cuisine. Focusing on Cajun style with the spices that is lovely blended into the food. Ordered the Cajun style blackened fish that I enjoyed it so much ! It comes with shrimp that blend well with the dirty rice ! Kind of heavy for lunch but I enjoyed it .. the fried alligator skin not tasted the crispy skin but rather the meat tasted like fried chicken ! Dipping with the special sauce good to pair with beer .. unfortunately! Lovely lunch and hopper o come back to try other food ..

This place was absolutely beautiful, and the food was amazing and perfectly prepared. Our waiter Solomon was the sweetest, most professional young King! The alligator was incredible! first time trying it and I will eat it again. I will eat here everytime I come to Texas for sure.
I travel to the DFW area often. This Papadeaux restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. I have never had a bad meal at this facility. Seafood is never overcooked and always hot and good. Drinks can be a bit pricey but good.

Let’s start from the beginning. We arrived at this location on a Friday around 3:30 pm. Upon entering the establishment we noticed how beautiful the property itself was. There was a option to eat outdoors but we decided to dine inside. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our waitress Erica. She was very polite,attentive and was possibly the best waitress ever! We started our meal with the shrimp and crawfish fondue and let me tell you, this appetizers was like no other! Everything we were served during this meal was fresh and in large portions. This was our first time but definitely not our last!

The food is great as usual, but I've been noticing the King Crab dish has been having fewer and fewer crab legs. It used to come with three to four legs, then it came with three, then two and as of yesterday one and a half. So disappointing that the prices have increase while getting less food. No complaints on the quality or taste of the food and the service was fantastic.

I came in to Pappadeaux around 3:00pm and was seated right away. This waitress who had the most beautiful smile named Mackenzie walked over to take my drink order. Throughout my meal Mackenzie was very attentive and made sure I had everything that I needed. She made me feel welcomed and appreciated. It was the best experience I have ever had eating at Pappadeaux. I am in a wheelchair and Mackenzie was kind enough to carry a To-Go Iced Tea drink to my car. If you ever stop and eat at Pappadeaux in Richardson, TX ask for Mackenzie. Thank you, Mackenzie for giving me outstanding and friendly service. You truly made my day!

My wife and I were visiting Dallas, Texas for business. As you may know, Texas is known for its barbeque. We have been to Texas numerous times. To us, Texas is known for Pappadeaux Restaurant, an upscale Louisiana seafood restaurant. As a Louisiana native, I appreciate good cooking. Sadly, the pandemic was still a concern for most areas. Dallas wasn’t the exception. However, regulations were relaxed in May. When I arrived, the location was packed with people eating inside. People were eating in and taking out meals. When we arrived to eat, we were told that dining into the restaurant was an hour wait. We opted for curbside, take-out. The restaurant had a good system in place (i.e. designated parking). We got our meal under 30 minutes. The menu contained an assortment of Louisiana cuisine including po-boys and seafood dishes. The meal is amazing. Yet, the meal isn’t cheap. Curbside service is a great option for Pappadeaux. if you wish to avoid a long wait. With the pandemic in check in the US right now, this restaurant is a great option for seafood lovers. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who desires an incredible eating experience in Texas.
