1st time ordering from here. Placed an order on Uber eats. The food was hot and delicious. Best Ethiopian food I’ve had since leaving Kenya in 2024. I’ve eaten at the expensive Ethiopian food places in Dallas and there is no comparison. I’ll be returning as long as the food stays like this. Peace and blessings!

All 10s across the board. This is my second time dining at Abeba grocery and I’ve enjoyed both my experiences. We had dry tibs and quanta firfir, which both tasted amazing. The owner took great care of us, I will definitely be coming back!

Came in for a quick late lunch and left seriously impressed. The veggie combo was outstanding—packed with flavor and served in generous portions. The staff was attentive throughout, adding to an already great experience. From the taste alone, you can tell the rest of the menu is going to be top-notch. I’ll definitely be back.

In Dallas for the theatre and made the drive to check out the food. Everything was very fresh and extremely delicious. Portions were very generous, the price was reasonable, and the injera was superb. I appreciated the hospitality of the chef and staff members. They were very helpful in describing dishes, answering every question, and providing overall great conversation. I do not drink coffee but was talked into buying green beans for my mother and roasting them myself. I was very hesitant, but followed the directions. Unfortunately you all have created a monster and she will now only accept Ethiopian green beans roasted at home, lol. So see you all again soon!

1st experience eating Ethiopian food and Yonic was a great host and very helpful in helping me choose a dish. I went with the beef tips with collard greens and red lentils. The food did not disappoint!!! Will be back when in town for sure.

This is a small and unassuming shop, but I believe this is the GOAT of all Ethiopian foods in the DFW area. No other restaurants wot comes close. A single portion is enough to feed two people easily. I only rarely get to dine here since moving away, but when I lived a couple blocks away, I lived on this place's food. I've tried almost every Ethiopian place for 20 miles, and no one can touch the flavor here.
