AC Hotel Dallas by the Galleria

I love the friendliness of the staff! I mean the bartender Delaney was amazing . The breakfast attendant is always super helpful. AND I DON’T KNOW WHO IS MAKING THOSE 🧇 WAFFLES BUT MY GOD EVERYTIME I VISIT THEY ARE CONSISTENTLY AMAZING. Trust me on this one ☝️!!!!!

Nearby activities: The Dallas Galleria is literally a 10 minute walk and the scenery is beautiful. Also there are nail parlors near and few other shopping spots.

Walkability: Very walk friendly area.

Food and drinks: Food is TOP TIER… EVERYTIME

Noteworthy details: Always get the Waffle and always get the STEAK 🥩.

I would normally give this hotel 5 stars, as I have been staying here monthly for over a year. One of the main reasons I always stay here is the convenient parking garage. However, three weeks ago, my car was hit in the garage. Despite there being a camera directly above the car (see photos), the front desk person said they couldn't access the camera and the manager would not be back for 2 more days.

I requested a call from the manager and did not hear back. I sent follow up emails and still nothing. Because of how poorly this has been handled, I cannot resolve how or who damaged the car. I now have to think about the hotel as negligent as it is not safe if they can't operate and access security cameras.

What would happen if someone was assaulted in the parking lot? Would the hotel just say "we aren't responsible and can't access security cameras?"

I will not stay at this hotel again unless this is resolved.

We love the place , amazing service in special Rebeca is the best , so happy and always with smile , every breakfast was gread , the front desk always clean and help us alot. If you have a pet, this is the place.

The lobby is spacious and wonderful for work! You can set meetings there or park yourself comfortably for work all day long. The gym is also spacious with various stationary bikes, such as Peloton. Also has stair masters. Ample space to do floor stretching and exercises, which is rare for most hotels. The pool is delightful!

The rooms are ultra clean and comfortable. The only annoying thing is that you can hear very vividly of people rushing or running on the floor above. Especially when there are children running around. The mattress is a bit slanted on one side. Perhaps been used plenty of times. Need to change it. I would also suggest for an optional electric tea pot if people need it, room slippers, and a speaker.

Walkability: Very close to the Galleria mall very convenient. Also walking distance from Target.

I recently stayed in room 213 on business. I normally stay at another hotel in Dallas but it was full. Front desk staff was welcoming. Delaney the bartender was fantastic. Room was clean and bed/pillows were comfortable. I gave the location 3 stars because it wasn't convenient to my office.

My only word of warning is for right hand ladies out there. The outlets in the bathroom are in the far left wall. The mirror lines up on the far right wall. Unless your curling iron/straightener has a really long cord, you might have trouble styling your hair. There's only the mirror in the bathroom and one on the door and there's no outlet near the door. If I stayed for more than one night, I would have asked the front desk for an extension cord. The hairdryer works great. Really powerful.

Hotel is solid but the real star is Mrs. Becky the breakfast attendant on the Hotel property. She might be the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. Makes each morning better, greeting everyone with a smile and a warm heart, even taking time from her busy day to stop and talk to me and ask how I’m doing. It doesn’t seem like much but it meant a a lot. I’ll stay here again and again just to make sure I see her before I start my day when I’m in Dallas.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 4 times now. The hotel staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and reasonably priced. The bartenders know how to make sure you are having a good time. The lobby has a little nightlife all its own, perfect for team meetings or just a place to stay while in town with friends. Definitely recommend.
