The food was pretty good. The spices used to marinate the fish is great . The plantain is sweet and ripe perfect! I would say the environment is pretty dark, but it’s clean so I would come back

Aggies Restaurant in Dallas totally surprised me—in the best way! The food tasted homemade, portions were generous, and the staff made me feel like family. Left with a happy belly and a smile!

Their tilapia fish is too expensive. It should be $15 and not $26. It is not even tasty.

Literally drive over a hour to come here and support but the service is always trash or what I usually order is always a problem. If you cater to customers with great service and atmosphere then business shall continue. Surprising how rude you all are. Until then, I won’t be back.

Leanne, the cashier is so sweet. She’s very welcoming and holds great conversations while waiting for your food. I’m not happy about the rise in prices, but the food is delicious.

Ok, I didn't eat but a Good Brother who sat next to me did. He contacted a friend and reported that his food was excellent.

I did drink! I had a great time with Eric (another patron) and with Ms LeAnn (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐).
This is an awesome bar/restaurant (especially for Cameroonians) 🏆🫡). I had Africa's Guinness. 🏆

Aggie’s Grill & Bar never disappoints! Their food is absolutely delicious, and I love that they keep adding new items to the menu. Tonight, I had the peppered chicken with plantain and spinach, and it was packed with flavor—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. A special shoutout to the Manager Lani, who provided top-tier customer service. She was super friendly and even recommended a Strawberry Margarita, which was a game-changer! I was surprised to learn that they now serve alcohol, and at just $8 per drink, I couldn’t resist having a few. If you’re looking for great food, amazing service, and a welcoming atmosphere, Aggie’s is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back to try the Mackerel Fish with plantain next time! Highly recommend checking them out.

This place has improved all the way down to the customer service Now the price has gone up a bit but I understand from the way economy has been going. But I Whole heartedly love this place I came with my family last weekend and it was pretty busy. There was Live music and our server Lani did and outstanding job welcoming us. Ive been coming here for over 8 years now The Fish and Plantain is consistent, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Called to order food, was told I should just come in because what I wanted to order was already prepared, even though I stated I wanted to order more than just one item

Drove 10 minutes to get there, came in and they were busy so it took 10 minutes until they could take my order, then took another 10 minutes to prepare the food because it was not prepared like they stated over the phone. If they had taken my order I would have been home with the food

I've had African food from several restaurants before but this was the first one that included a lot of connective tissue with the meat, which was not stated on the menu. I don't like this and would not have ordered if I knew that would be included. Ruined my meal because half of the meat portion was that connective tissue. The sauce was tasty though.
