Amies is my goto spot for great tasting African food. The Egusi and pounded yam is definitely my favorite. Thank you Muhammad.!!

We ordered oxtails and rice, lamb dibbo and rice, both are good. I only suggest that they update prices on the web site since they don't have to go menus available. To pay 50.00 expecting to pay half of that according to menus prices. But the food is good.

One thing I can say is the customer service was good but other than that the food is TERRIBLE. I love African food I’m from Atl we have the best African restaurants there but this was the saltiest whole fish I ever had and they ruined it putting unnecessary chopped up onions all over it and teriyaki sauce all over it and I asked for jollof rice .. they gave me some other dark brown rice that is clearly not jollof rice. Im highly disappointed and it’s inside of a flea market that was the red flag. It’s super dirty in that flea market. Never again

Hubby and I saw this on instagram and decided to try.. It was very difficult to find this place to be honest. It’s inside of big T but the beauty supply part of it.. anywho they take your order and tell you to wait. You don’t pay before you wait, you pay after the food is ready. There are no prices and I believe that’s so they can charge people depending on how much they LOOK like they can pay. We got Egusi soup, oxtails and lamb and paid $70+… I need someone to come in here and tell me what I already know. THATS TOO DANG HIGH! How you charging Pappadeaux prices and we eating in Big T bruh!?!?
