The hostess was very friendly and we were seated right away- no wait! Our Server Gabby was delightful and attentive. Food and drinks were delicious! Timely service and we did not feel rushed. We enjoyed our date night at Anchor Bar!

Service was exceptionally slow. Took 15 mins for a waiter to even greet and get us drinks. We ordered as soon as waiter came but food service was really slow as well. Food was great and normally service is good as we tend to go there twice a month but seemed like a lot of new faces serving since last time and kitchen ops might be as well.

Everyone recommends the spicy tuna crispy rice for a reason, it’s so good!! I think the Knox roll and chefs pressed are also stand out dishes. I also feel like it’s a plus to be able to get some fries with your sushi lol

great experience except we asked for a table closer to entrance due to noise level and received a table deep in the restaurant even though I reserved 5 days in advance. everything else was outstanding. our server was perfection with a big smile! we ordered sashimi, rolls, edamame, buns, gyoza. pear martinis were spot on and yummy! parking was easy and wait time for table was quick.

We come to both locations often and usually sit at the bar but recently was served by Gabby at the Preston Hollow location and she was so amazing and kind! Highly recommend her and this location, will be back soon as always!

We went to The Anchor restaurant and loved the vibe!! It is decorated from floor to ceiling like an expensive yacht and has low lighting that makes it feel very cozy and chill. Our waitress was Kristen and she was very attentive. Luckily, we were able to take advantage of happy hour and ordered some items from that menu (including the Saketini which was amazing and, yes, very cold 🥶). We only ordered sushi and were not disappointed. It’s a great place that we’ll recommend to friends!
