If you want bland stale food, rude servers, and drinks that never come this is the place to go! 2 stars because the music was nice and their food made Denny's seem like a gourmet breakfast. By delivering awful service Anvil made me fully recognize the value of good service, so I can thank them for making me appreciate all other brunch places much more!

This was my Mac n cheese, had a “burnt butter” taste. Is this cheese bread? Also some employees dog was running around the entire restaurant, back into the kitchen, etc. them when our food was brought out it sat by our table panting/begging. Pricey for this service and food quality and I had to walk up to the bar to get my drink refilled. Server never came by to ask how our food was and we had to yelled across the restaurant to get our check since he didn’t want to walk around and come to our table.

Came in last night for the first time in a long while. Through the staffing has obviously changed I can say for a fact I will be in WAY more often. Ariel was Awesome and super cool. So happy to have popped in!

I am from out of town and I was looking for late night food. I popped in here and ordered a burger. My friend ordered wings. Her food came out and then I waited 15 minutes for my food. Her food was finished by the time mine was out. I bit into my burger and it was very over cooked, charred to say the least. I brought it to the bartender and told her it was inedible and asked for a new one. She was great and understanding.5 minutes later***The cook comes out. He walks to my table with a hostile demeanor. He waltz up and never introduced himself and was blowing into a swisher pack. He asked what I had on my burger. Then proceeded to ATTACK ME. And said that it was might fault to order a burger because they were frozen and it took longer to cook. When I said it was over cooked he just made excuses. He never apologized or anything. Honestly I believe that he just did not want to recook the burger, never even offered to recook it.This is uncalled for behavior. I have worked in the service industry for 6 years. I have never seen a cook act like this before. The bartender was great but I just had to explain how awful this experience was. I hope they are able to redirect their staff.
Had a great time here. Really good atmosphere and really good vibe. DJ JD delivered a fun, vibrant musical experience. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a good time and keep the beat going in the heart of deep ellum.

Where to start ! The food was delicious!! And the drinks are so good too! We were in town for a concert and knew we needed a drink to help us from the hangover and wanted to try this place out and we were so glad we did. We both go the F&@k brunch drinks and it was so worth it. We were eating our brunch and saw the staff offer a whole meal to a homeless man walking by that was so sweet and generous of them. I definitely recommend this place the parking so not too bad and the entire neighborhood is a nice walk lots to see !
