Food was decent and traditional. Some were too salty or not hot/fresh enough. My family raved about the prime tenderloin and turkey. My fav was appetizer and dessert stations. Buffet selection was not huge, but solid with non-alcoholic beverages were included. Noise level was very good, and space between tables was not crowded. Parking was included. We'd love to be back. We were given good attention from our waiter.

Asador is located right inside of the Renaissance Dallas Hotel. Be aware of the paid parking.
The atmosphere was upscale but relaxed, great vibes all around.
Rosie and the staff were incredible. Their knowledge and hospitality was great!
Now to the food... I ordered the 44 Farms 14oz Ribeye (Medium Rare) with the Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. The presentation was wonderful. The steak came out perfect. Each bite was like butter. (My mouth is watering just thinking about the steak!!!) The brussel sprouts were delectable. And the mashed potatoes was an excellent addition to the meal.

The service here is wonderful and very friendly. And especially appreciated the bartender and room service. However, the food is consistently just a tad too salty for me. I ordered the Caesar, the pozole and both were oversalted. The chocolate cake for room service was delicious, however, I wouldn't come back but for hotel food, it's better than most.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. First service was slow and the restaurant was not even that busy. Drinks took forever and so did the food. We were there for restaurant week and they said oh we are not doing that even though they were on the website saying they were. Then they said guess we can do it. No matter if we ordered on that menu or off the regular one they were out of items. Not a big deal it happens. However, when the order is turned in is when they should let you know not when the food is coming out. Nothing came out at the same time. Fish was over cooked, not one but every fish they served was over cooked. How do you mess up a ceasar salad you may ask but they did. The dressing was nowhere near ceasar and was not even edible. Shrimp and grits was not good, was like the put italian dressing on it. If I have to say something good I would say the desserts were good. I would guess they were not made in house. After saying something they say oh come back and heres a percent off next time. Like I want to try again. IT WAS HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO.

I'm not sure why this place is a 4.3, because the food here is unbelievably delicious!! This is the best queso, best pork belly, and best halibut we have ever had (the whole table agrees on this point). They match richness with acidity unlike any place I've ever been to. Food was so amazing, we will be returning within a couple of weeks with a bigger party. Carlos was fantastic!
