The food was good but the service was pretty bad. Not rude or anything they just couldn’t get my order right. The cashier didn’t put my order in right the first time so I had to pay again for my order. They then made the sandwich wrong so I went and had it remade. Then they made it wrong again because the cashier again put my order in wrong. I didn’t get it remade again because I was tired of going back up to ask. Food was good, just not what I ordered.

This used to be my favorite cafe in dallas and their drinks and coffee are still top notch. I tried their riverside punch (Kyoto cold brew with chai) and it was delicious. Well-balanced flavors and surprisingly refreshing

But I am very disappointed in the baked goods. I ordered a fresh croissant at 9am and asked for it to be toasted, the croissant came completely stale and tasted like it had been left on the counter for a day. The dough was so tough and dry to chew and swallow. The waiter confirmed that it was fresh from bakery that they received in the morning. Truly unacceptable quality. I took a bite and told the waiter that it's inedible, he threw the croissant away but I still got charged (which I'm okay with). I had their brunch food in the past which I liked but this croissant puts me off and made me doubtful of their other food offerings. I will only return for drinks in the future.

Baked goods should be fundamental of a boutique coffee shop. This is truly disappointing.

Very poor service. We sat for over 10 minutes and not one person even acknowledged us. A waiter came by and tried to tell us that the half-drunk glass of water already on the table before we sat down was ours — we aren’t blind. He walked away without asking if we’d like to order anything.

We went inside to see if we could place an order and were told someone would come by, but no one ever did. We decided our Benjamin Franklins were better spent elsewhere.

Your loss — the café at the neighboring Virgin Hotel has amazing food and impeccable service. Try them instead; you’ll never want to come back here.

The atmosphere of this place is excellent — I really loved it. However, I was a bit disappointed with my order. I asked for sunny-side-up eggs but received scrambled eggs instead. I didn’t mention it at the time because I was very hungry after finishing my fast.

I also noticed there were quite a few employees standing around without much to do. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, so it seemed unnecessary to have that many staff members, especially when they weren’t paying much attention while taking orders.

That said, the food itself was absolutely delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed the flavors. With a little more attention to service, this place could easily be perfect.

Absolutely amazing coffee! The vibe is so nice! Just passing through Dallas looking for good coffee and couldn’t be happier with my experience here!

The manager, Andrew, goes above and beyond for all his customers. I wish I could name all the employees that have positively impacted my experiences over the years but I would surely run out of room in this review. From deliciously consistent lattes in the mornings to full meals in the afternoon, they've never missed the mark. This is by far the best location; esthetics, atmosphere, location, staff, service, and food/drinks. Seasonal drink specials are a must try, and you can never go wrong with the Italian Pane Aria for lunch. Quick and friendly service everytime, but you can expect longer waits on the busy weekends (they're incredibly popular, what can more can I say)

The ambiance was amazing! I love the whole vibe and the decor. I’m a coffee snob and have to say that I had the best cold brew here. It’s strong, delicious, and definitely doesn’t have that bitter taste! The food was so delicious! I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the Dallas area again!

Yes eat here! Due to events out of my control, it was late morning and I wanted breakfast, flavorable breakfast!
These guys delivered!
I had an omelette (Sounds tame!) but with manchaco cheese. Yum!
Also had a warm pumpkin muffin!
The normal latte had some nice extra coffee taste!
So, I reviewed the menu - We’re there others items, different items that would tickle my foodie-ness. I found many days worth of different items, I could spend every day here for a couple of weeks eating something different!
By then, maybe a new menu would be out!!!
Someone in the kitchen likes to cook art of your taste buds🥰

Where do I begin, so we walked in walked to the host stand to wait to be seated. Was told to sit anywhere we like and did. We then got our menus then waited 10 mins to be greeted. Cool I understand if the restaurant is busy(which it wasn’t), I am a server myself but a simple, “hi guys my name is __ I’ll be right with you, would’ve been nice and we would’ve 100% waited even more and understand ,but that didn’t happen. Our server then came didn’t introduce herself just asked if we are ready to order. We let it go then got our food. HOWEVER, the table LITERALLY next to us just got sat and the server attended to them within 2 mins of being seated and introduced herself. Like??? I am a server myself, I always understand and see the server point of view because I get it 100% sometimes you don’t know who’s turn it is in rotation, who’s assigned to what section, etc but come on now. Also we’ve been waiting 15 mins for our change and still haven’t been acknowledged. However, the server who dropped off our drinks/food was extremely nice! Really wanted to give this place a chance since all the great reviews expressed about it and my friends have recommended the place. I’m really disappointed and sad that we got this service :( Sadly I won’t ever be returning and that’s fine, I just don’t want this happening to another guest that comes into establishment :(

We came for late weekend brunch. The food for us gets a 5 stars. The mimosa carafe was also impressive. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We somehow got our food before any of our drinks came out (regular black coffee & mimosa). Our server maybe came by 2 or 3 times the entire meal and just acted like everything was going great. The table next to us also had to get up several times to walk up to the counter and ask for service (ketchup, check, etc.) The atmosphere was about average. Overall, I don’t think we would return. Maybe for pickup only.
