Asian Star Buffet

Because this restaurant is one that I often go to, I read all the reviews carefully. I think many people's reviews are written in the wrong place. This restaurant is located in Dallas, but many people here say it is located in Fort Worth. Their names are the same but they are not the same restaurant.

My family and I had been coming to this buffet ever since we moved here. The variety it great with many diverse dishes. The table had always been clean and the workers are so nice and beautiful. The price is not very high which is amazing.😻👍🫶

Great food and atomosphere, would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the tall Asian guy host who calls himself the manager, Tyler. He’s always looking down on his phone and I usually have to wait for him to finish whatever he’s doing to greet me “1 booofet?”

Tyler was rude and is always in his phone at the front stand. He seems to hate his job and his attitude shows. Food is good for a buffet but needs new management.

Went there at 3:28 and the (apparently) manager Tyler tried to charge me for dinner pricing, even when I pulled out the website which states dinner starts at 3:30pm. A guy in front of me got the lunch price, I asked him for the general managers contact becuase I didn’t feel he took care of the situation correctly and to verify the policy on lunch to dinner. He did not give me any information other than telling me everything is on our website.

food was gross, worker came up my ear and called me a slur about how i looked, i would not recommend eating there as there was bugs, you have to pay before you go in. horrible service. felt like i was judged and treated horribly the whole experience.

Buffet with a big spread. Live this place. A big man can do it up. And it won't kick the cap out of your wallet.

When it's not crowded it's a pretty decent place to dine it's not golden coral by far but it gets the belly full and there's a good variety of different food for the picky eaters

Arguably the worst buffet I have ever been to. One person for dinner is $17. The food is served cold-warm, it’s not kept warm under the lamps. The food is also not labeled correctly. The bathroom was dirty and smelled terrible for a restaurant. Low quality food and a depressing atmosphere, the staff here deserves better.

Do your own due diligence, Make restaurants accountable and offer more transparency with the conditions of the kitchen and where the food comes from. They likely use old oil, possibly even worse but If I said it then it'd be pure speculations so i wont but

This restaurant was featured on the Fort worth telegram about being dirty. look it up, the reviews also give further confirmation on what was found during a routine health inspection. We need to make these more common and strict. I don't know why Dallas got rid of the health inspection website that offered more recently done inspections.
