It has been months since I have been, but I still think about the flavors day in and day out! Went in after brunch (Apr 4) to try it out, since I love ice cream and it was my first time at Bishop Arts, and the employee working there was kind and welcoming. She was extremely patient as I asked about the flavors, sampled a few, and thought over my many choices. I finally settled on the cherry bourbon flavor as my personal selection, and took a risk with the Abuela Maria as her recommendation since guava doesn't really do it for me. I had to get the scoops in a cone and top it off with extra sauce for the Maria, of course. Both were fantastic! The Maria had great texture and taste with the cookies, sauce, and guava flavor, to my surprise, and the bourbon cherry flavor was packed with flavor. I have to come back soon for it and to try the many others available, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing one open closer to home in Fort Worth!

I love the different flavors! They’re all so unique, and there’s always a different flavor for me to try every visit. They even have vegan options. The cones are really good too! This is my favorite place to get ice cream

Service was great! Ice cream was awesome! I’m sad to hear that you all are leaving and hope you find another great spot soon! I read the article and if it’s any consolation, my family and I like ice cream not gelato! ?

We were walking around the area and it was a nice day so the nieces and nephews took my eldest to grab some ice cream while the adults were waiting in burgers nearby at Hunkys. They came here to Azucar Ice Cream Company as it was open and had a steady stream of customers. My eldest daughter got the Cookie Monster ice cream. She loved it and ate it all before I even got a bite. I did see chocolate chunks and brownies chunks in the vanilla ice cream. It sounded like an interesting combination. The rest of the cousins all loved and ate their ice cream as well.

Yummy! Azucar is definitely one of my fave ice cream spots in all of DFW. Everything from the location in beautiful Bishop Arts, the art decor of dripping ice cream, down to the unique ice cream flavors, make Azucar a must go to spot! My husband opted for a scoop of chocolate while I tried the best seller Cafe Con Leche. Yum yum yum! I loved every bite. I would definitely come back and try more flavors. The atmosphere surrounding this location makes it all the more worth it. Live music, bustling lit up streets and a cute old town vibe, made this ice cream experience feel magical.

This is a cute spot tucked away in the heart of the Bishop Arts District. The ice cream flavors I tried are delicious and the place is an absolute vibe. I love the giant ice cream sculpture they have right on top of the building. That being said the prices are kind of outrageous. I'm not sure if I was just charged incorrectly, but it was about $6 for a single kid's size scoop in a cup after tip. That's literally double the price of other places!

Delicious ice cream! We had the birthday cake with chocolate sauce, sweet cream with chocolate sauce, and s'mores. The line was long (which says something in and of itself) but moved quickly. We definitely recommend!

We had the white chocolate topped with Oreos and a red velvet cone. Both were delicious and we will definitely be back. Loved meeting the owner and hearing the story behind the founding of the store with his wife in Miami.

Cute spot for ice cream in Bishop Arts! Unique flavors with some of your classics and seasonal ones as well. My boo and I shared two scoops in a cup and it was $10. Great service and there is some seating indoors. Loved the espresso Oreo and passion fruit sorbet!

As with most stores and restaurants in the Bishop Arts district, Azucar is really colorful on the inside and outside. It's air conditioned inside, with a few benches to sit on, and outside has a small table streetside, with a little dog water bowl for your thirsty furry friend. The ice cream flavors rotate daily, but they're all really interesting and unique; from mani loco (Peanut butter with Reeces peanut butter cups) to Cafe con Leche, to our favorite Abuela Maria (guava with cream cheese). Our server was friendly, patiently allowing us samples of a few ice cream scoops before we ordered. The small size is about $6, so it's not the cheapest, but I'd still go back again if in the area.

Who doesn't love ice cream? Cool little spot in bishop arts with delicious ice cream. The cone was really good! We ordered mint chocolate chip which was pretty standard, and the El Mani Loco tasted like Reese's puffs cereal. Needless to say, we ate it all. @DallasFoodFun

The Passion Fruit ice cream was delicious! It was vegan as well. I also got a pint of the vegan cookie butter which was delicious too. I will definitely be coming back!

I chose a strawberry cream cheese flavor. Sweetness was just appropriate and there was a real strawberry powder inside which gave me a pleasant sourness. I loved well balanced tastes of the ice cream. I forgot to take a pic but definitely will revisit later to try other flavors.
