You are NOT coming here for service and atmosphere. There is none. You want that, go elsewhere and pay more.

But a basic bowl of pho will cost you only $10 here, served within a minute of ordering and with the best broth in town.

Don't even bother turning the menu, only the front page is EVER available. Been coming here for 4 years. They've never had anything but pho pho pho pho.

I don't understand how this place is a 4.3 star review. I understand the older gentleman and lady in the front has a language barrier, but you do not just come to take our order and walk off in the middle of our order taking. When I ordered a rice dish plate, he waved and said no, only the beef rice plate dish, that was the only option, so I went with pho. The pho did not have what it had listed ingredients in there. I was very disappointed and a bit upset after paying $75 for 3 large and 1 smal bowl of soup and the only beef rice plate they have on the menu. Of course, when you eat a noodle soup, you need water, and water is not given to my family and I. Restrooms are disgusting and not clean at all. If my kids weren't so hungry, we would have left, but we wanted to give them a chance, and they blew it with the things I listed above. This place NEEDS a need for food and environment inspection. Please do better.

i been here more than 5 times and i love this place because its affordable and inexpensive ,,, i say a 3 star service because person there doesnt really know english but im glad they are able to understand what im asking for ... i always go for the number 3 special and its very delicious... i reccomend coming here if you like eating noodles

Unassuming spot in a strip mall in West Mesquite that is clean and neat. But you definitely don't go there for the service or the atmosphere. That's missing the point for this restaurant. You go to this mom and pop spot because they make fantastic food. Not everything in the menu is available, but the available items are excellent. Set your expectations correctly and have an outstanding lunch at Ba Lę.

The overall place is not that clean, tables with the dirty dishes left on for long time, the cook lady yelling in the kitchen, the only waiter dressing is very sloppy and wearing sandals, handling money and you’ll see thru a curtain helping in the kitchen without washing hands, the restroom is not clean at all…the sanitary health department should go to that place for inspection STAT.

A very quiet and peaceful place to enjoy a Vietnamese and delicious chicken pho. I really liked the taste of my chicken pho. The whole restaurant was clean and neat.

The food is always top tier ! I love how fast the service is and how peaceful it is when coming to the restaurant. Ive always been able to come and eat and get over my hangover! I will always love this restaurant

Owners were accommodating and quick. People that are saying they are rude don’t understand the culture. The food was amazing and cheap! We come from Denver where pho will run you $18 for the same amount of food vs the $10 here. Broth was so good! Will definitely be back.

I love this little hole in the wall. It's a small, cozy place. Their pho is really good, I like to keep it simple and leave the broth as is since it has such a nice clean flavor. I haven't tried anything other than the pho, but it's all I want!

Ordered a Pho number 5.
Not my favorite broth. Soup is lite and not oily (which is great!) but the beef was very weak but at this point I don’t remember if it’s was beef broth or chicken broth to be honest, and I don’t know if its the ginger and something else that made the soup a bit spicy/bitter.

Large is pretty small too.

Ever since I moved to Dallas over 3 years ago this has been my go to pho place. The ambience? Dingy but really relaxed. The service? It's run by one family and most of the time it's the older gentleman waiting your table. You will get no more that 3-4 words from him each visit but his service is efficient. The menu has 6 pages but they only provide items for the first and last page. THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!! I love this place. If there's a heaven Ba Lẹ will be there.
