The ambience was great with good food accompanied with music. The chicken kabab was tasty and Dessert - Kunafa tasted good.
Some menu items have changed since the last time we visited and the new dishes are delicious. We enjoyed the kofta kabob and the apricot lamb couscous, as well as the classic beef cigars. excellent service from Mo on a quiet night.
A neighborhood gem. Mediterranean restaurant with street tables and a thematic interior. Hookahs available if desired. Food is spicy and complex. The apricot sauce coated chicken wings exemplify the fusion of sweet and salty, velvety smoothness of the sauce and crispness of the meat. Kibbeh and kofte kebab were delicious. Attentive and caring service. Our third visit and we will be back!
My girlfriend & I stopped by Baboush for the hookah and I did not disappoint. The hookah was great, we grab a greek salad which was also go. They also have good cocktails as well. We didn't try the the food because we ate prior to coming but we smelled that came by and we will definitely be back! I recommend this restaurant!

This place is cool and workers at the restaurant are nice and courteous but the food is overrated. It costs too much for no particular reason whatsoever. My dish was couscous and some kind of stew. It was so salty and not delicious at all for $40. When you charge your customers please make sure you give them something of value in return otherwise they feel taken advantage off. I’ll never go back to this place.

A new favorite. Enjoyed everything we sampled and also what I ordered, the chicken shawarma plate. My drink was yummy too. Will come back to try other things on the menu.

I had a fabulous experience at Baboush! I came here alone on a Thursday night when I was in town for work, and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the decor, and the music. And the food was amazing—the cauliflower appetizer was my favorite. My server was super kind and attentive, and even gave me a little baklava at the end of the meal 😊 Highly recommend.

I couldn’t have asked for better service from Muhammed. He was excellent. Food was also incredible. We had:
Lamb hummus - perfection. I didn’t realize how much I liked lamb, it was perfectly seasoned
Harissa and apricot wings - I loved the flavor, they weren’t spicy at all. More sweet. Chefs kiss.
Chicken kabobs - great flavors, chicken was very tender
The ambiance is also really great. I loved the music and decor. Felt like I was transported somewhere in the Mediterranean region!

Baboush has a great vibe—cozy, stylish, and just lively enough without being too loud. The food was solid across the board. The hummus was smooth and flavorful, the falafel had a great crunch, and the chicken kebabs were juicy and well-seasoned. The harissa sauce had just the right kick, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, a great spot for Mediterranean food with a cool atmosphere. Would definitely come back!
Great food and atmosphere.

Fantastic Mediterranean Experience at Baboush!
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each authentic Mediterranean dish had incredible flavors, fresh ingredients.
The service was first-class, with attentive and friendly staff making sure we had everything we needed.Highly recommend for any occasion—this place is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be back. Looking forward to the live music next time!

The restaurant is situated in a prime location in the uptown west village neighborhood. However, the food disappoints with its lack of flavor. We began with the Harisa wings, which were underwhelming. My grilled lamb rack was more akin to lamb lollipops, still lacking flavor. The cocktails were mediocre as well.
Service was notably poor. The server was completely unattentive, failing to introduce himself and never checking on our entrees. Despite passing by us multiple times, he chose to stand outside for air. In a restaurant that wasn’t full, a little effort would have been appreciated. There was clearly something amiss with the server.
The addition of a mandatory gratuity to our bill was unacceptable. We consistently tip 20% but dislike when it’s enforced. This might explain the subpar service, as he was assured of his tip automatically.
Furthermore, the online menu differs from the one in the restaurant, with certain items priced lower online. While not significantly different, it is quite misleading.
For superior Mediterranean cuisine, I recommend Cafe Izmir in Lower Greenville.
