I haven’t dined inside the restaurant yet, but I have used Banana Leaf Thai for catering — and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish tastes authentic and made with real care.

What truly sets Banana Leaf Thai apart, though, is the owner and his son. They are absolutely spectacular — professional, kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything is perfect. Their level of service and attention to detail is rare and so appreciated.

If their catering is any indication of the restaurant experience, I know it’s exceptional. Highly recommend for events, gatherings, or any time you want amazing Thai food with outstanding service.

I ordered the Basil Shrimp Entree with Rice, but the actual dish was very different from what was advertised. The menu photo shows shrimp as the main ingredient, but what I received was almost entirely green peppers and vegetables, with little to no shrimp.

I understand that presentation can vary, but the main ingredient being missing goes beyond normal variation. This feels misleading compared to the menu description and photo.

The taste was okay, but the mismatch between the advertised item and what was delivered was disappointing. I hope the restaurant can provide more accurate menu photos and ensure the dish matches its description.

It was my first time at Banana Leaf and I had the mango chicken and spring rolls…everything was delicious…I’ve met with Kameron he was very informative about his family restaurant and very friendly…can’t wait to go back

The Pad See Ew is delicious! The portion size is really big compared to the price too, could barely finish it. All meals come with a soup and salad too which is amazing. Great place to eat!

Fantastic food and exceptional service. You truly feel like a VIP. Easily some of the best Thai food in the area. Steve is a wonderful business owner who goes above and beyond to ensure catering orders are flawless.

Been going to this restaurant for quite awhile now, never been disappointed with the food quality, portions and service. The owner Steve is a hoot and so is his son. Great value for the money in today's over inflated and overrated restaurants.

Love this Thai restaurant! I’ve been coming here since 2011 and it has always been consistently good. The Pad Thai and curry dishes are my favorites; full of flavor and always satisfying. A longtime go-to spot for great Thai food.

We have used Banana Leaf via EZCater several times for lunch meetings at my work, and it is one of our favorites. Everything is so flavorful and travels well, even though our delivery location isn't very close to the restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks!

I tried tai food for the 1st time and oh my goodness I've been missing out....it won't be my last, thank you to Steve who showed great hospitality, he's so welcoming makes you feel like family, shout out to Banana Leaf thank you for bringing great food and fun to Dallas for all to enjoy!!!
