Every time I pass through the airport, I make a beeline for the bar, and that’s all thanks to Montana! She’s not just a bartender; she’s the heart of the place. With her charming personality, quick wit, and knack for mixing the perfect drink, Montana turns every visit into a delightful experience. She’s truly valued and makes every traveler feel at home.

Cool vibe here! Of course I tried the House Bloody Mary with baconized rim. Pretty good although I am a fan of real bacon. This place has a nice concise menu of 2 breakfast items and a few mains. OF course I chose the Love Burger being at Dallas LOVE airport. Delicious and juicy.
Readable paper menus with white background and dark letters. Accessible tables for a reprieve from the airport hustle and bustle.
They have a separate bar height counter just outside the eatery in central area to enjoy the travelers walking by.
Accessible hands free restrooms with diaper changer in central airport area. van accessible paid airport parking.

Joe Luna is the best !! Went above and beyond to help me out with the wings , they only come with buffalo or naked , got me a different sauce from another restaurant in the airport and had them toss them in with the wings for me , small things mean a lot , hence this greet review !
Go so Joe Luna and AV8 cafe !!

Thanks boss

completely overpriced for the quality you receive. they are charging $22 for a 4oz jalapeno burger and fries that tastes exactly like Wendys in a cardboard to-go container. a mimosa that costs $17 after tax is utterly unheard of.

I could understand if they were serving 8oz Angus beef with a double patty and a small farm cheddar cheese but this was beyond reason. they actually managed to get my order wrong and instead of pickled jalapeños they served me fried ones and the burger included bacon where none was listed. You'd think they did me a favor but the burger was so small it felt like something out of high school.

at these prices the hired cooks should be smart enough to read a menu and every employee here should have a pension and free healthcare. Just because it's an airport doesn't mean every outlet should charge steakhouse prices.

for comparison across the walkway Dickies BBQ pit nothing on the menu, besides a few catering packs, was over $19. Chilis down the hallway has a 3 course menu for $17 and for $4 more you can get a margarita.

never again Dallas!

Service is slow and terrible.

Always friendly staff.

I would give them a 0 if I could. I wanted to get a beer waiting for my next flight and I got cutoff after my first beer of the entire day. I wasn’t even buzzed and I got an attitude and cutoff.

Joe was a killer bartender. On the ball and taking care of business. Talked about local beers and recommended some cool things to do in Dallas. It's not everyday that you get exceptional service in an airport setting considering you are the captive audience. Glad I walked by the Chilis to come to AV8.

Not worth it. We ordered the patty melt and it was tiny, on white bread, very few onions, and a small beef patty. We paid extra to upgrade to the loaded mashed potatoes and all they had was a little cheese and bacon on top. They were missing the pico and queso as advertised. Would not recommend it.

Yo Joe L. is the greatest of all time. I sound like a gen Z. But promise I’m not. Having the shittiest of days flying to a funeral but he has the ability to say and do things that you need at the time. To the reviewer who “got chased away” you are at an airport restaurant/bar location. Get. Over. Yourself. Joe deserves a raise or promotion.

Just witnessed the bartender tell a couple people to move out of the area if they were not ordering a beer. One poor guy ordered the beer and didn’t drink it. They were just standing by the front eating their food. Maybe if he approached them a little different they would have stayed for a drink. This place would have lots more people coming in to drink if the ambiance was a bit lighter. To say the least, customer service is lacking and I would not have that bartender tending my business.

This place is way overpriced for what you get. I ordered a BLAT, which was supposed to have sliced avocado, and there was hardly any in the sandwich. I spent almost $50 for a sandwich, side salad, and one beer. There was also a 30 min wait time for me to get my food, which was just a sandwich and side salad. Leaving me with bearly 20 min to eat. There were also belligerent guests that were loud and obnoxious at the bar. I'll try another airport bar during my next visit.

Bartender (bald guy) is extremely rude. I had a similar experience to another reviewer, where I was pushed out before even able to order. Kept asking for me to order a beer… but some commuters are working and cannot order a beer. I said Uber my breath, “great service here” and he aggressively questioned me about what I said. He is actively looking to fight, argue and kick people out of this area…

I travel a lot. This place is absolutely the worst airport bar/restaurant I have been in. Due mostly to the customer service. Rude bald manager. Visited twice in 10 days while traveling thru Dallas. Never again.

The bartender was extremely rude. Some bald guy who said I had to gtfo if I don’t want something (mind you I wanted a water before I was going to order something else to drink). He proceeded to rush me out and say that he will bounce me out if he has too. Hope management fires him
