Left before the cook even came to us. 50 mins in and we never got a cook so we left. Very understaffed. This has become the norm for Benihana in DFW. You'll wait like you're at a doctors office. If you have to time to waste, and want your hunger to fade with time, go to Benihana.

My experience was AMAZING! The Waygu of the World is a must!! The steak was so tender and flavored. Appetizers were good and paired well with the signature cocktail. Our staff was super attentive and nice. The chef was very intertwining as well. I will definitely be back.

This was my first at last time at this location. I typically frequent the Irving location but agreed to dine here as my daughter lives in Allen, so we selected this location to better accommodate her work schedule. The only thing that I enjoyed was the soup. The rice and veggies lacked flavor. Our chef was polite, engaging and respectful but the service was subpar at best. I originally ordered the Yakisoba and it was not good at all. I took maybe 2-3 bites and sent it back. I requested the Waygu fries rice which they cooked in the back and that was no better. Our chef cleaned the station, said his goodbye and thanks and then we were seated for about a good 10 min or so all wondering where the server was so we could get our ice cream, green tea and checks. Finally I decided to look for either or server or someone in management. I spoke with a male manager and shared details of my experience as well as that of our table. I let him know that I typically frequent the Irving location and this was my first time here but would indeed be my last. I shared my experience and displeasure for both entrees and he asked what was wrong with them. I replied that both lacked flavor, the quality I'm used to and simply were not good and that I didn't want to try anything else. My daughter had the colossal hibachi shrimp and she said it was okay. I told him that I would pay for my daughter's meal but that I would never return there. Essentially it was just a bad dining experience due to the service and the food quality. The meal was comped and we tipped but I would never go back to that location.

I went to try the Wagyu of the World special and I loved it! It was my first time trying Wagyu, our server and chef helped us navigate which options were best for us and everything tasted great. My server was Karen and my Chef was Cameron, give them a raise! The only thing was that the drinks could have been better, other than that, everything was good.

When your paying 60 dollars for an entree you don't expect to be nickel and dimed on sauces to enjoy the meal. Also the cook on the food was inconsistent and the waitress was slow and lacked personality and energy. Overall bad experience won't return to this location.

Went for my birthday as I've been to Benihana plenty of times before at a different location and have had good experiences. This time I had a reservation for 7. I didn't get sat until 7:40 once sat I order, I only got my steak at first and was confused as to why i hadn't got my rice as everyone else was served theirs. I ended up speaking up about it and later got my rice. When I did get my rice I was served such a small portion, me and my husband got the same exact order and our portions were so small, while everyone else's looked way bigger. The bill came out to $135 which I think is insane for our plate to not even be full and our food to be cold by the time we got it all together. I honestly won't be returning to this location and am highly disappointed.

had the best time celebrating our move here! we had the wagyu of the world dinner and each course was delicious. highly recommend the truffle butter!! this is the perfect spot for a celebration or to just have a fun date night. 10/10!

I forgot how delicious Benihana is! The experience was incredible from start to finish. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and the staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of! Luis and Cameron were amazing, the ambiance was perfect, and the waygu steak was out of this world! I can't wait to go back.

I took my family to celebrate my sister's birthday, and as their first time doing hibachi this was an amazing family experience. To start our server Luis and Chef Camron gave us top tier service from beginning to end. We decided to do the Wagyu of the World menu and it was the most buttery steak I've ever had. I recommend the A5, but everything we tried was great. The rice and veggies were cooked to perfection. Chef Camron had the entire family entertained! I'm not sure if the jokes come in the training or if it was natural but he had us laughing the entire time and had us amazed at all the tricks! It felt like the dinner came with a complimentary magic and comedy show ! lol I also tried the chicken gyozas and they were so goooood! That dipping sauce had some spice but it was so flavorful. Also we tried a variety of drinks. The lychee martini was my favorite, the prickly pear margarita was the strongest drink but it was so very good, and the fall themed drink, the sweater weather tasted like a cinnamon hug in a cocktail! I recommend all of those. Thank you to this location for making my sister's birthday so fun and exciting! She enjoyed it so much and all the food was AMAZING. 1000/10, will return. If you're going please go to Chef Camron!! He will make it worthwhile!
