Horrible service, and the cocktails are overpriced. The owners use this bar as their personal place to drink and entertain their friends which is why the service so very slow. The focus should be on their customers who are actually paying for drinks. They have 1 bartender and no bar back and/or server which adds to the problem. If you are seated anywhere other than the bar, you have to get up and go try and flag down the bartender for drinks. The atmosphere of the bar is very Las Vegas tacky lounge like but not too bad. I think there other places to go in Dallas for better craft cocktails for less with much better service.

A little loud to me, for it to be a lounge I couldn't hear the music but it may have been the crowd. For this to be a lounge it was bright, the lights being could of been more dim. The drinks and service is good. They have a food menu but it is limit which is okay. I will try it again.

Gem of a place hidden in a residential tower with no signage. So cute, great drinks. Downside? On a random Thursday early evening was out of all pizzas and most all dips
Cool weird bar in a cool weird condo building. Dig the dark decor and friendly bartenders.

Great place to relax, enjoy wonderful drinks, and laugh with one’s friends. Excellent pizza, too!
This used to be the best place with the best service and espresso martinis. We came in this evening, and barely got acknowledged. The espresso martinis were served in regular glasses and tasted awful. Literally not drinkable. I brought them back up to the bar with a sip each and before I could even ask for something different they handed me my check. 40 bucks for two espresso martinis we didn’t even drink. Such a disappointment.
Unexpected well-stocked bar hidden in a high-rise condo. Decor doesn’t looked updated since the 90s but it’s kinda funky cool. Great place to exhale at the bar. If you’re a vampire, you can hang out in the darkened corners.
Tucked away—signless—on the lower level of Preston Tower Condos, Bernie’s is practically a speakeasy. But if you’re anywhere near Preston & NW Hwy and in need of a whiskey, or other adult beverage…
I don't go there for the food/snacks. It's not great food, but if you need to eat it's edable. Drinks are why most go there.

Ridiculously expensive. Other than that, cool place.

This place has a lot going for it. The staff is great, welcoming, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, and the drinks are well made. That said, the sticker shock is obscene. Never have I ever been slapped with a surcharge for ordering a drink “as an old fashioned” (without smoke) on top of the cost of (a ridiculously expensive) liquor. I advise the ownership to list liquor prices on the menu and stop this egregious practice, or at least enable your fine bartenders to provide customers a warning shot. An unpleasant end to an otherwise enjoyable evening. (The drink in this photo came out to over $31 before tip)
Our favorite Dallas Speakeasy! Always fun to introduce Bernie's to our friends from Tarrant County. ?

Food was hot for a change.
Very cool bar inside the Preston Tower. My friends and I went there after Dinner to celebrate Galentines ? Lots of neat decor and the Espresso Martinis were delicious.
At first glance the place is lovely and the atmosphere is very calm but thats where my compliments end. The owners pick and choose who is and isnt allowed in the bar. My problem with them is the blatant discrimination. I have seen the bartenders yell at people to leave, will over pour and play favorite with certian customers and ignore the rest. They dont card everyone as long as someone has a tab with an ID on file. I could go on but you get the point. I was asked by the managers not to return until i am no longer pregnant...I never drank alcohol but enjoyed the food and other beverages they had available. while i can see it being frowned upon seeing a pregnant lady in a bar but we have absolutely every right to be there regardless. The owner is also an incredibly cold and heartless woman who cares more about her image than the people who work for her. Im very sorry to anyone who has to continue working for her.
