Customers Beware. We visited for lunch today. I asked for a receipt and was told no and they’d just call my name. I thought it was strange. After waiting for about 15-20 minutes the girl asked what I ordered but didn’t seem to do anything about it. After another 10-15 minutes we asked where our meals were. They had no record of our meal. No name, told us no one ordered what we ordered and were very rude. We argued back and forth until I pulled up my credit card account on my phone. He then said well there is a total for this but there’s not order, I guess I’ll just have to take your word for it and refund you (still trying to make it sound like I made this whole thing up). He then refunded my card, I asked if I could have a receipt and they again told me no. I then had to call my bank to make sure I’m actually getting refunded. This definitely can’t be normal business practice.

I definitely feel humbled writing this review, as my wife highly suggested against coming here since she got food poisoning a few months back. I told her not to worry since maybe it was a random one off and decided to give it a second chance for us. Cut to now, 8 hours later in the middle of the night and I'm fighting for my life. I got the french dip with fries and I will say it was definitely pretty good! Maybe a bit expensive, but I understand they support local farmers which is worth the price imo. Looking at other comments, I am only seeing one or so comments mentioning buying expired meat so hopefully me and my wife getting sick on different occasions is just a weird coincidence. Either way, I would definitely suggest for the kitchen staff to take a second look at how they are preparing/storing their meat to ensure food safety. Service was alright, not super friendly but not poor either, which I can understand since it was a little later in the day on Halloween and folks are ready to go home. Overall, I really did like the food and will probably give it another chance in a few months. I'll update my review then and hopefully be able to share some better praise.

The cashier is extremely rude and makes you feel horrible for placing an order. Older white man with ponytail. I will definitely not be back.

Amazing steak and probably the best fries I've ever had. Fair prices and excellent service. Their butcher shop a few meters away is also amazing.

In my recent dining experience, I found the prices to be quite high, with two burgers totaling $40. Offering a lunch special could make dining more accessible for customers. I was pleased to see that the restaurant now accepts Apple Pay, embracing modern payment methods. However, I was unsure about the tip distribution, as it seemed to go to a donation fund rather than directly to the hardworking order takers and cooks who provided excellent service. Addressing these points could enhance the overall dining experience and ensure that staff are properly rewarded for their efforts. Because honestly this place is amazing

The bartender wasn't friendly; while he did provide water when I asked, he didn't offer any to my husband. Despite saying thank you multiple times, he never responded. I wouldn't eat here again. Very good burgers and Cuban sandwich. Only downside is that sides like fries aren’t included in the price.

The hot dog and mac and cheese were ok. It was extremely busy when I was there but the male server/cashier was really agitated..he wasn’t rude to customers but definitely not friendly (kind of scared to go back ever lol)
