Fun Once-in-a-While Experience
Went to the Big Tex Fair in Dallas as a first-time tourist — it was a fun and unique Texas experience! Lots to see, eat, and do. Just be warned: prices inside aren’t great, and you can easily spend more than you planned.
Best to go later in the day when it’s cooler and tickets are discounted. Worth doing once every 10 years!

He comes out for the Anual State Fair Of Texas, my entire family loves to go every year. The place is alwayls livley and filled with true texas spirit.

The experience was very nice, everything is way too expensive though, like 7$ for ONE slice of pizza, they even sold fried butter 10$ and ONE single thing of cotton candy wrapped in bacon 16$ ?. Rides per person are 12 bucks, and you need to make your money into "coupons" so you can't even use money to buy stuff except for coupons and the tickets to the park itself. Barely anything for free, but the free stuff was nice, but too overcrowded. If you have money sitting around or money to burn, then this is the place.
