We’ve been here several times to watch the Manchester United games. They show them all and are often packed. Service can be slow, which is understandable, especially when it’s thought to get around with people standing everywhere, but that’s what makes the atmosphere so wonderful! The restrooms could also use some extra cleaning, but again it’s a pub so it’s almost part of the deal. Now the food though — yes it’s pub food but it’s more than that! The curry is delicious, the chicken tenders are always fresh, the queso with the pretzel is the real deal and the presentation of the brats is truly beautiful. I’m often more excited about the great meal I’m going to have instead of the game I’m about to watch. Definitely recommend, unless you’re not a United fan. 😆
Vegetarian options: They do have a veggie burger that’s not too bad. I think it’s vegan if you get it without the cheese.
Kid-friendliness: We’ve been taking our little one since he was less than a year old. It can definitely get a bit rowdy, but if you sit on the covered benches you can enjoy the food and atmosphere without being directly in it and having a scared kid when Manchester scores.

This is a Green Bay Packers bar in Dallas.
We're from Wisconsin and have been living in Dallas area for 7 years.
Good spot to watch the game.
They have a good deal 2 beers, 2 brats, and cheesecurds for like $20.
Service was poor. They weren't that busy. I had to ask for extra ranch twice and after 15-20 minutes of my cheese curds getting cold I went to the kitchen myself to get ranch.
The table next to us sat down after us and didn't get served for those same 15-20 minutes.

I like the outdoor space with the firepit. The indoor can seem a little cramped but there were also 50-70 that aren't normally there adding to the experience. The bartender and servers were responsive and very pleasant. I'll go back.

I have been a long time fan of the Black Friar and it’s been years since I made it into the bar for a drink with friends. It was not nearly as packed as it used to be on a Saturday night which for our group was great. We were able to get drinks and enjoy conversation without the headache of aggressive music and hammered patrons.
