We popped in on a Sunday morning to watch the English Premier League and a few pints. The bar tender was great and admitted a little hung over just like us! That being said, the service was still top notch! We drank a local lager and paired it with loaded cheese curds. LIFE CHANGING!

Super fun bar. We loved the atmosphere, and the locals were cool to chat with! Pretty hefty beer prices in the area, but it was right on par with everywhere else in the neighborhood.

Went to the Blackfriar Pub for a special event, but will definitely go back for dinner or just to enjoy some drinks on their great patio!We did have their Cajun Burger, it was amazing! The bar staff was super nice and took great care of us!

When I came here, I had asked earlier if they were going to put on the Stars game and one of the bartenders did, I watched and had a few drinks and ordered the loaded fries, they are excellent!,Apparently I had one too many because I got cut off by another bartender, she said her manager wasn't too pleased with me sitting there for three hours taking it slow and watching the game. I can understand if I was being belligerent and falling all over the place or making other customers and the staff uncomfortable, but I was doing none of those things. I rode the train there and took a taxi home, so I was not driving, I am not sure if I will make it back to this establishment.

Stopped by for the Packer's playoff game and it was a great time. Cheese curds were dynamite and I would highly recommend to any Wisconsinite - and even if you aren't from Wisconsin you'll enjoy this bar!

A new favorite spot with the most attractive and talented bar staff and yummmy draaaaaanks!UPDATEWe keep coming back... draaanks like my Blood Orange Lemonade and the draught selection always satisfy. Excellent execution from BOH on the Steak Frites and Bangers and Mash tonight... got the Bread Pudding to go we're too full. Totally full Friday night inside bar and patio so the magnificent Naz, bar, and handsome men on the crew had to hustle like rock. stars. The hard work and effort and great recommendations are appreciated. Just look at Bob tackle that plate!

I absolutely love this bar. I went in on a Tuesday cuz I had a taste for Shepard's Pie (theirs says Shepard Pie, but it's actually a Cottage Pie). Larry took such good care of me it became my favorite bar. Now you can catch me there Tuesdays or Wednesdays (karaoke night) at least twice a month.Parking: There's a free parking lot behind the bar.

Little disappointed noone gave me a quest to find their lost wedding band ?? or kitty kat ?? or whatever. I would have expected more "Patrons in Need" with "Flush Purses" at a Medieval Pub catering to the masses...Questing aside, it was still a quite enjoyable experience!That Brian guy behind the bar, while definitely lacking in "opportunity for coin", did seem to have some rumors of the local town folks. He did make me pay for the gossip, but also poured a hard mead, so there's that?
