Cannot say enough great things about this bar and the amazing staff. Fernando, the manager, looks after us so well every single week. We’ve been hosting our Celtic soccer games here since the bar opened post-COVID, and we’ve never looked back. It’s been wonderful to watch Black Friar grow—now hosting college games and even another supporters club. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the service is consistently excellent, and the vibe on match days is unbeatable. Go give them a try. I’m sure you won’t regret it.

Absolutely best place to watch El Clásico!! The vibe was all Barcelona Fans. So much fun. Plus sample Tequila and Beer. Free drinks are the best drinks. Super clean and Fun!! Highly recommend. 10/10

You know you're in trouble when you walk in and it's instantly boring, then you pay with cash and the bartender gives you change in $2 bills. They obviously want you to run a tab. Drank our beer and left.

If you are a Barcelona FC fan this is definitely a must during match day. If you are looking for great service this is also your place. The waiters were ever present and eager to give the best experience.

The bartender (Fernando) added multiple drinks onto our tab that we did not order. When we tried to explain that we didn’t order any tequila shots the he slammed the check onto our table yelled at us and demanded that we paid. It was ridiculous and extremely inappropriate. Never going back here.

Halloween 10/31/24 I ordered 5 bottled Dos XX and 1 shot, got my tab, and it was $84. I asked for an itemized tab, and they gave me one saying I ordered 5 Dos XX AND 4 shot. Bartenders argued with me, calling me a liar. I literally still had every glass I ordered from the entire evening still sitting at my table. I told them to check cameras, or I could get the cops here to sort it out , and then they decided to take the EXTRA $40 fraudulent charge off. KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU ORDER OR ELSE THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY. Definitely won't be back. ALSO, take a picture of your signed receipt showing if you leave a tip or not so they don't try to steal your money that way. 5 similar reviews in the past 4 months should be a sign to STAY AWAY FROM HERE!
