The bartender (Fernando) added multiple drinks onto our tab that we did not order. When we tried to explain that we didn’t order any tequila shots the he slammed the check onto our table yelled at us and demanded that we paid. It was ridiculous and extremely inappropriate. Never going back here.

Halloween 10/31/24 I ordered 5 bottled Dos XX and 1 shot, got my tab, and it was $84. I asked for an itemized tab, and they gave me one saying I ordered 5 Dos XX AND 4 shot. Bartenders argued with me, calling me a liar. I literally still had every glass I ordered from the entire evening still sitting at my table. I told them to check cameras, or I could get the cops here to sort it out , and then they decided to take the EXTRA $40 fraudulent charge off. KEEP TRACK OF WHAT YOU ORDER OR ELSE THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY. Definitely won't be back. ALSO, take a picture of your signed receipt showing if you leave a tip or not so they don't try to steal your money that way. 5 similar reviews in the past 4 months should be a sign to STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

Fantastic Welcome & hospitality shown to us as visitors from Scotland on our first trip to Dallas, everyone was so kind and chatted away while we watched the football & afters lots of ex pats from Viewpark, Barrhead, Dublin and Hamilton👌......totally recommend to anyone visiting Dallas.
Great little pub in the heart of Lakewood. They have a rooftop deck so when the weather did right you can enjoy the views. The food is excellent.

The Black Friar Burger was a 4/10. They need to work on their patty, and it not being significantly smaller than the bun. Cheese curds were 8/10. Service was 10/10. It's a cool spot, but seeing as this is the 3rd place to be here in 8 years that doesn't mean much. They should dump the pool table for another 8 top table. Pricing was fine although they definitely gouge on the Guinness.
I'd stop in again in better weather to sit in the 2nd level patio. Would skip the main course and just go anywhere else for dinner.

Positive they poisoned my food because I dared to double check that my beer was NA. The bartender in the Jude Bellingham jersey during the champions league final is specifically who I'm talking about. I'm sorry YOU chose to work two jobs and make yourself miserable. Don't bring everyone down with you. You deserve jail time. How am I sure? Well, he was super annoyed I confirmed my beer was NA, was more worried about the match, FOUND A HAIR IN MY FOOD (after eating most of it, unfortunately), and the cherry on top when my buddy went to close the tab, he fist bumped my buddy and left me hanging ?! What did I do to you, bro?? I'll be visiting back to speak to a manager (and if that guy is a manager...LOL) if I don't die first. It's been a week and I've lost 10 pounds. Don't go here!!! At least not the LAKEWOOD location - I'm not the first to suggest avoiding this location either as you can see from recent low star reviews.
