Absolutely love this place, it's my go to and they have the best (maybe the only) all day happy hour in Dallas on Sundays! The ceviche was the best I've ever had so don't sleep on that!
Our large group of 12 had a great time. We were seated at on table in a separate area. Our waiter was very accommodating and took our concerns about gluten seriously. The food was amazing! There were a few people who aren't fans of sushi, and they were very satisfied. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend this place.
Our server Ivana was amazing. Gave us a great run down of the menu, she was very attentive, and made us feel valued.
Wrapping up a short weekend to see a favorite band in Grand Prairie, I stopped in at Blue Sushi on my way to flying out from Love as flight had been delayed. Constructed my own set paired with a perfectly brewed hot green tea. Gluten free soy sauce was no issue. Exceptionally fresh uni and rolls. Though it was a Sunday afternoon, place soon filled up within an hour. Don’t have to tell you where to go.

Jorge was fantastic: extremely polite and attentive. Food was great. Atmosphere was great. Enjoyed the cocktail as well. I was impressed at the number of Vegan options they had as well. Will definitely go back the next time I am in Dallas!

Disappointing Service at Our Go-To Sushi Spot
My boyfriend and I have been loyal customers at this sushi restaurant for over three years, it’s our go-to spot. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was disappointing due to poor service.
When we arrived, it wasn’t as busy as usual, and I noticed there were at least three sushi chefs preparing food, so the kitchen didn’t seem short-staffed. We sat down, and my boyfriend ordered calamari while I stepped away for a moment. When I returned, we had been waiting for our server for a while. My boyfriend was getting impatient since we had seen other waiters passing by multiple times, but ours was nowhere to be found. We eventually had to ask another waiter if they could get our server to come over.
I ordered cucumber, nigiri and two rolls to start, but the wait for our food was unusually long. Our rolls weren’t even brought to us by our server, the hostess delivered them instead. Meanwhile, we noticed other tables receiving much more attentive service from their waiters. We wanted to order a third roll, but once again, our server was nowhere to be found, so we had to ask someone else to take our order.
After a long wait, our server finally returned to ask if we needed anything, but by that point, we had already placed the third roll order with another staff member. The wait for the last roll was just as frustrating, and the whole experience became unenjoyable. At one point, my boyfriend noticed our waiter bartending instead of checking on his tables.
Tired of waiting, I went up to the hostess and asked to have the last roll packed to go. This visit was far from the great experiences we’ve had before. The food itself wasn’t the issue, it was the constant waiting and lack of attention that made the meal disappointing. Hoping this was just an off day, but it definitely left a bad impression.

Summary: Bad
My opinion is unpopular to my friends. The majority of my friends think the place is good but me and one other buddy who enjoy quality fish/sushi, we didn’t like it. I’m personally more of a nigiri person and theirs were thin slices and expensive…. So because I was still hungry I got a roll. Not only do they drown it in sauce, but they have no idea how to cook good quality rice. Literally 50% of the eating experience is good rice and it was terrible. Rice wasn’t soft or fluffy, but rather stale and cheap…similar to grocery store sushi.
I don’t know why, the two times I have been was during lunch and the place was not at all packed, yet the service was terrible.

I love this place! I come here often, sushi is really good quality; even if I try something new it doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommend for a chill dinner vibe with a partner or friends

Multiple weeks the service has been extremely slow. We have walked out of the establishment due to not being greeted while multiple other guests were greeted by a server prior to us.
