Small simple pizza place located at Lovers lane not far from Highland Park. Very reasonable prices and a good friendly staff. I recommend for takeout orders.

Not sure what is going on at Bona Pizza. Had a large pepperoni and mushroom Sat evening 11/23 and it tasted really bland, like hardly any flavor. Sunday night 11/24 my wife was craving a pizza so we ordered a Margherita and a pepperoni/mushroom for me. My wife commented first that hers had no flavor and mine as well. They don’t taste bad but they have almost no taste. Been ordering from here for a few years and was tasty until the last two times. They must have changed suppliers for ingredients or something to that effect.

Nothing but cheese and bread.
No marinara sauce at all.

We love this place. It's a family run restaurant in our neighborhood, and they have the best pizza in town. We usually order the Pizza Classico. Super friendly service.

Love the quality food! A wide variety of FRESHLY-made food, not just pizza. A delightful owner who will make pasta dishes, with wholesome, bromade-free, ingredients. Try it! They deliver!

Small corner space no dining room but place to sit if you want. Great menu pizza, calzones, salads and choices for Greek cuisine.

Delivery is free so call in to order and skip delivery services and save some $$.

Mostly I pick up myself location is easy.
Overall very pleased with what I’ve tried.
Nice to support local family owned and operated.

They do not care. That’s the bottom line. Advertising practices are unethical at best. Refuse to make their wrongdoings right

The ideal pizza place, of which we are somehow severely lacking in Dallas - bit of a hole in the wall, locally owned and operated, and killer pizza. We usually do a couple of regular pizzas and a salad - ingredients are always fresh, not over-sauced (personal pet peeve). Always a crowd pleaser for a group, kids included! One day we will explore the Greek items on the menu, hard not to crave the pizza!

Great neighborhood restaurant!!!
I asked for a pizza without the crust and Two Braulio created phenomenal, meatball and sautéed vegetable meal to die for!

Wow. Wow. Wow! I grew up in the Northeast, the land of Greek and Italian food. And I'm sorry, Dallas, but your Greek and Italian restaurants are no match (sorry, Campisi's). That is, until I found Bona. You'll drive by this place and never see it, hidden behind a small liquor store. But, oh, what a gem, to find real Greek and Italian finger food in Dallas! They make the best Calzones! (try the Italiano Calzone, with seasoned spinach). And the Babaghnooj is to die for (throw away your hummus, and try this eggplant infused dip, with Bona's fresh Pita! Did I mention the pizzas? There is some great pizza in Dallas, and then there are some posers, like Grimaldi's (which isn't exactly New York-styled pizza). But here at Bona, you'll get authentic Greek and Italian pizzas! Be sure to try the Olympia, with garlic white sauce and seasoned chicken. How refreshing, especially for a North-easterner, like myself, to find something authentic in Dallas. Bravo, Bona!

I had a gyro pita and she had the kabobs and we shared some pita and hummus. Everything was excellent and very good portions. The service was just amazing - treated us like family. Super friendly people. Delivery and take out may be your choice if you like a larger dining room - but honestly you cannot beat the dine in experience.

Sorry to say that this pizza did not live up to my standards. I got a pepperoni and a cheese pizza and neither one was good. My sister even got sick that night. The cheese was rubbery and really salty. The pepperoni was not good and Im not even sure if maybe it was old pepperoni they used that day? It just had an off taste to it so sadly we didn’t eat the pizza. Just wasted $40 but oh well. You snd you learn. I wont be coming back.
