I'm from the PNW but I do enjoy trying local craft beers when I travel. This was my first time in Deep Ellum neighborhood. My business partner brought me to this brewery on a bar hopping afternoon post meetings. There are tables both outside and inside, with lots of space between so you aren't too close to strangers. The art outside is amazing, coupled with the breeze, we chose to sit at one of the large wooden tables on the patio. Our server brought us a menu with ample selections of beers, but they were unfortunately out of several options. My friend chose the CBD beer and I had something else (I don't remember what it was, but I didn't like it, so I ended up ordering a local cider instead). The vibe was chill. Some people had dogs, some brought their laptops, some were just popping in for a happy hour drink. The one thing I didn't like, though, was a guy had a dog who seemed docile. Our server made a quick move that startled the dog and the dog snapped. The server then went into full flip out mode and told that customer (in a very inappropriate manner) that he wouldn't be helping him anymore. I get that everyone has different reactions to things, but I found his response a bit over the top and embarrassing. We only had one drink here, but I really liked the location and the vibe of the brewery.

Pretty pricey but it's a really fun atmosphere and the food is killer! If you come during their events, there's normally more interaction between tables. We came and played Among Us at the beginning of the year and had a ton of fun. Everything on their menu is pricey, but all of the meals I've had here have been excellent.

We are here on a Monday 11/1 3pm and I took friends from out of town to try something out of the ordinary. The bartender was incredibly rude and mean to us. We were ordering a beer and a flight and he was being very rude in his demeanor towards us. My friend asked if he was in a bad mood and he said yeah. So we said we'll go elsewhere. It was a very unpleasant encounter.

Great spot right on the corner and deep Ellum. Has a very nice view of Elm Street the food is great the live music can vary from live DJ or actual performer. The beer selection is second to none and the beer flights are super fun

What a cute little brewery. We stopped by for a round of drinks and we really loved the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the beers were good. A nice little spot for drinks.

Had a bad experience the first and last time visiting for a late evening drink. The lady serving drinks was very disrespectful and rude to women of color. I would not recommend anyone to spend their money at this location. I also have tried to contact management but no answer or call back! Please do not visit and waste your time with low self esteem employees who does not respect their customers. Have a good day!

So when in Deep Elum Tx and thirsty for some craft brew, stop into Braindead Brewing. It's not hard to find. Look for a place with a cool Steampunk Vibe! They serve up some great brews and if you can't decide.... Order a Flight and sample several! They do a great job with the Brews and have a great Local/Weird/Unique feel too!

Honestly, the best part was the magician that came by our table. The music was way too loud, the food was iffy, and the beer was decent at best. It wasn't horrible but I won't be making it a point to go back anytime soon.
Not every brewery offers a bacon flight with beer pairing, which is why you should come to Braindead Brewing. They offer an eclectic menu of dishes ranging from BBQ pork wontons to parmesan risotto and the beer is also top-notch. Try the Happiness Comes from Within NEIPA and Army of Frogs: Columbus DIPA, very solid beers. I'll be back whenever I'm in the Deep Ellum neighborhood.

Cool little joint! Great food! We had the stuffed jalepenos and the BBQ brisket burger! We also did a flight! They have more stouts than others so if you're a stouts person you'd really enjoy the beer but deff a beer for everyone

Bartender was awesome! We did a house flight as a pint each of the honey beer in the tank. Pretty freaking cool to get beer right out of the tank! The bar counter top was made from the grains and it was neat to see! The servers were very good about making sure you were helped. However, we did not order food so can't comment on that. Would return again.
