Love their locations!!! My favorite has become the Allen location by far!

Went many years ago and it was good, went back and it was the worst meal in years! The food was just bad diner quality, the service was not good - waitress has no manners. I will not return here. What has happened to the food? Hard to eat and most of us couldn't even eat half of our meal.

THERE ARE FLIES Everywhere. The smell is absolutely gross. Smells like old food and wet wood floors. We asked the server to do something about the flies and it was not addressed. The food came out luke warm as well as the coffees. The place just needs repairs everywhere starting with their serving utensils; they’re old and bended. The woman in the front was impolite and looked like she just woke up of bed.

Walked in genuinely excited to try Bread Winners Café and walked straight back out. The hostess was outright rude and unwelcoming. I simply asked if the patio was open and she snapped “no” and stared at me like I’d asked something ridiculous. Zero hospitality, zero effort. When we tried to order food to-go, the host team was just as useless and indifferent. We ended up leaving with our entire group because there’s no chance we’re spending money at a place where the staff treats customers like an inconvenience. Plenty of restaurants know how to act — this isn’t one of them.

Always a good eatery, love to visit the is specific location, although the host wasn’t happy this specific day, the staff is always willing to provide a great experience, and the food and pastries are great! Order a something else than regular day’s brew coffee!

Luis is the best waiter at this location his fast and friendly, definitely recommend him to take care of you if you visit this location in uptown.

A friend and I stopped for lunch before going to see The Outsiders at Music Hall at Fair Park on a Saturday at 11:45am. Parking is hard to find but we got lucky and found a spot behind the restaurant ($13 for 60 minutes!!) We got a table outside and it was a gorgeous day. Although it took a bit to get me us and a drink, our server was nice and when we told her we needed to eat quickly to make our show she was on top of things. I had the Croque Madam with jalapeño bechamel gravy and potatoes and it was amazing - not spicy, just very flavorful and the egg on top was fried perfectly, with a huge amount of thinly sliced ham and thick crusty bread. My friend had the breakfast club and it was a huge portion! Overall great food and a good spot to people watch end enjoy the patio. We’ll be back!

The server was very nice and friendly but I questioned why my hamburger had two patties vs one. It was okay but it wasn't Kobe beef.
