Chicken and waffles were fine. Tuna melt was good. Brought the wrong side with the tuna melt. Had to ask 3 times to get a tea refills and a couple times for butter. Waiter was friendly, but scattered and a bit forgetful. Tables are very close together and it was very loud.

Dietary restrictions: Didn't see anything for vegans beyond yond water. Vegetarian choices were very limite.d

The food was delicious and hot! Our server was new so he was still learning the menu but he was really nice and answered as many questions as he could. The pineapple mimosas were great and I’m looking forward to trying the sorbet later.

Parking: Depending on your arrival time you may not be able to park close because it is a shared lot but you should be able to find a spot.

Visited before - excellent food, service, everything. Today, very disappointed. Brunch Potatoes black, unseasoned and cold, obviously pre-cooked and waiting to be served. Ordered eggs over medium, cooked yolks were a let down, nothing to drag my toast through. Ordered jalapeno bacon, got regular bacon, tasted fine, nothing special. Other entree poached eggs medium, they were like a hard-boiled egg, biscuit-room temp and dry-so sad. Pecan roll was tasty. Server was not attentive, only half way listened and interrupted you as if he knew what you were ordering. Suppose that's why our order wasn't correct. But the kitchen made mistakes too.. It's a distance to visit here, not sure which visit is typical, so we won't risk the drive again.

Overall, wonderful. Our waiter was delightful and made us feel at home. The food was great. The menu though had so many options that I ended up going with a basic breakfast 2 egg, scrambled, with toast and bacon. My husband ordered their chicken and waffles. I had a bite and was immediately jealous. It was tasty and our boys ate almost all of their food as well. We will come back next time we are in town.

This was our first time going and the food was delicious but they had no AC in half of the building and with temperatures outside at 110 it was so hot. I got up to go to the restroom and the ladies only had 1 stall and the other had wires hanging down with no lights! Let me say when you think of a sauna that’s what it felt like… I feel for the employees ! You can do better with this restaurant.

Today, the avocado mixture used in the avocado toast had a distinctly fermented taste. It tasted like guacamole that has been in the refrigerator several days. I’ve ordered this 4-5 other times and it was fresh and delicious.Note to chef: don’t used avocados that are not fresh. It ruined the dish. I could only eat half of it.

The food here is great, but the service is what keeps us coming. Betty is always wonderful and the entire staff here goes above and beyond. Their avocado toast is delicious, as are their cheddar grits!

Met an old friend who I hadn’t seen in a while at this Bread Winners for brunch. The food was ok, but nothing special. We had made a reservation and were there about 1.5 hours total. But after we paid our $63 bill and were wrapping up our conversation, a man (dressed in a Mardi Gras type outfit) who we can only assume was the manager approached us and very rudely and loudly told us we needed to leave as he had other customers. We were appalled that he would treat customers that way. And it wasn’t even that crowded! Don’t go here unless you’re in a hurry as they obviously don’t know how to treat customers. He should be fired! Will not EVER go back!

Went to brunch to meet a friend I hadn’t seen for a year. We had made a reservation and were there for about 1.5 hours total. After paying our $63 bill (for 2), we were approached by some horribly dressed man who very loudly told (not asked) us to leave as he had other customers. It wasn’t even that crowded. We have NEVER been treated this rudely at a restaurant! Who treats customers like this? The food was not that great (more like a Denny’s) and then to have some pompous a-hole speak to us like that was unacceptable. Don’t eat here unless you are in a hurry! Otherwise it’s like you punch in and are then on a timeline! This place is not for quiet meals where you can eat and visit comfortably without being treated so rudely!

The safe is nice & food is good. Lunch is my favorite time half ceaser with a turkey croissant. I really enjoy the jalapeño bacon too.

The food was awesome!!! What I had was so delicious, I just can't remember what you was called. Everyone at the table loved their food though, except the basic breakfast someone had, had hard toast. It was very busy though, and having a big party we ended up waiting a lot to get drinks. The remember waiter said that it's busy and he would get to us soon...but despite feeling a little less prioritized, he was still sweet and made sure we eventually got everything.

I used to go to Bread Winners on Lovers several years back when I worked in the area. It was great. I just started back over the past several weeks and both experiences were less than stellar. It surprised me to see that the place was virtually empty. Several years ago, it was always busy and that was when they had a second room (which they seems to have converted into some type of catering operating that is kind of unsightly). The service was hit or miss. The first time I went back, it was pretty good with an attentive server. The second time, our server was nice enough, but gave subpar service. Although there was only 6 small tables and at least 2 servers, she only checked on us once on her own, and that was halfway through the meal. We sat there for about 15 minutes after we had empty plates before one of us could flag her down for the check. When we asked if she could split the checks, you could tell it frustrated her.The food was also subpar. (Actually, the free pre-meal sweets are great). I had one of the bowls with added chicken, and the others had salad with chicken. The chicken for all of us was super dry. Almost as if it was pre sliced and just set out until someone ordered it. The bowl I ordered had the chicken served in medallions which was super hard to cut and even harder to eat. The bowl was tasteless in general, but that was my fault because I forewent the lemon vinaigrette.I hope these were off days for this locations. We visit the Plano location, and although service is iffy there, the food is much better.
