First off: The ratings didn’t lie, it was fantastic! My friend and I visited around 1500 today. I ordered the catfish and it was perfectly crispy in a cornmeal batter. Mashed potatoes tasted homemade with the perfect amount of salt. The cream gravy tasted just as good as what I would make at home. The turnip greens didn’t come from a can and were perfectly seasoned.
My friend had the fried chicken (I snuck a bite) and he said it was perfect. The yeast roll was delicious.
I’ll definitely be back.
In and out within 30 min.
If you get a chance give them a try. You will thank me.
Thank you to Bubbas for a terrific experience.
I’ll be back!!

Bubba’s packs a one-two punch delivering the knock out blow to your craving for comfort food. First, the fried chicken is crispy, tender, and juicy (add hot sauce and/or honey to go next level). Second, the sides are excellent. From the mashed potatoes and gravy, to the fried okra and corn bread or roll, you can’t miss. The service is friendly and they keep the dining room clean. Bubba’s has been there a long time so it feels like it needs a refresh and the restrooms need a complete overhaul.

hot fresh food. parking is a mess. food is delish. Location location location. very busy. $$ and $$$ for sides. Great staff. God-bless
Wheelchair accessibility: not ADA for dining in. restroom restrictive for handicap. you would have to eat outside if in a wheelchair.

This is a fun little place that feels kinda like a cross between a food truck and a diner. Their only entries are fried chicken, chicken tenders, chicken fried stake, catfish, and chicken and dumplings. They also have vegetable sides so you can get a veggies plate if you want. The options are limited because they focus on making it delicious! Great food and a fun, if cramped, diner-like atmosphere!

Great service, competent servers but the chicken was slightly burned and extremely salty. Mashed potatoes tasted like came out of a box, buns were amazing!
Best fried chiken in the Dallas area. Can't go wrong with any of the sides either.

Incredible food but mediocre service in the drive-thru! Did not get my gravy today and have been missing other items in the past!
This place has been here for ever. Breakfast is good lunch is ok. Fried chicken or chicken fried steak, yeast rolls corn bread all the traditional sides. I prefer breakfast but my husband prefers lunch... can't go wrong if you're looking for a filling meal.
