If you love New Orleans food, this is the place !!! It’s hard to find good Cajun food outside of New Orleans. Had boudin balls and fried green tomatoes, topped with the Tennessee hurricane. Food was hot and homemade (hand, battered and dipped). This is my first time trying this place and I already love it. Definitely will be back. Love the loud music and the atmosphere. It’s just like being in New Orleans. Service was awesome, from beginning to the end.

Had one of the best brunches I’ve had in Dallas here! Things pick up around 1 on Sunday and it is such a fun time with the live DJ! I had the chicken and waffles off of the brunch menu and it was phenomenal! Can’t wait to go back and try more items!!

When I tell you this was the best brunch I've ever had !!!!! Everything was very tasty !! It was a whole vibe!
1st and foremost the parking is a ripoff be prepared to pay.The customer service was awesome the DJ was top tier!!! The fried gator was soo good, the chicken and waffles were a 3/10 the chicken had no seasoning & under cooked the waffle were normal. I had 2 of the swamp water drinks they were good but I didnt feel buzzed or anything. My sis loved had the mimosas and they kept them coming back to back. Overall I'd rate this place a 6/10 because who don't season chicken🙄. The vibes would definitely bring me back!!

I've been frequenting Bucky Moonshine for years .... Since it was Alligator Cafe in Casa Linda. Sadly this place has gone downhill. I stopped in for lunch along with my Mom and Aunt and immediately noticed the atmosphere has changed. I love music however; prefer not to hear sexually explicit lyrics blaring in a restaurant. I will review three of the main things that went wrong today. The food was good enough but nothing near the standards Ivan ( previous owner) has in place. I was shocked to see a automatic 15% gratuity as well. The waitress was attentive so I didn't mind but I tip according to service so I was perturbed initially. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A RESTAURANT THAT CHARGE FOR TO GO WATER!!! I spent $113.00 in this joint and they charged $4 for water. Needless to say, this ends my relationship with BM. The restaurant seems to simply be a $$ grab now. Before this new owner took over, this was hands down one of my fav spots to frequent. Now the food is mid at best and the quality and quality of food , doesn't match the prices. I don't EVER mind paying for good food and service but the establishment should hold up their side of the bargain as well. Robert, there are plenty of things that needs to be addressed. Fortunately, Google will not allow me the space to list them all. It's been a great run but the buck stops here for me.
