Burning Rice Reviews
No stone bowls anymore = better change y’all’s name. Can’t call it Burning Rice when it’s served in cheap plastic takeout bowls rather than hot stone bowls that make the BURNING rice nice & crispy edges. And no sunny side up eggs anymore either.
The new menu is shooting themselves in the foot. Used to be a regular here, but no need to ever go back with this menu. I’m so sad. What a disappointing business decision. I won’t be surprised if they go out of business...read full review
The food on a cold winter’s day really hit the spot served in the hot stone bowl! So delicious and everything was prepared exactly as I ordered from a kiosk.
I ordered my food at 3:26pm and didn’t get it until 4:08pm. Unsatisfactory. My food wasn’t even hot anymore. Felt like I was eating leftover food that’s just been sitting there. I placed my order before 15 other people and they all got their food first. Then when I tried to express the situation to the lady that dropped my food off, she just said sorry and walked off on me while I was talking.

Burning Rice is a self-service restaurant that serves oriental food. The food is generally good, with flavorful dishes, though some reviewers have noted issues with the rice being old or cold. The menu has recently been reduced, which has disappointed some regular customers. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including rice bowls with toppings like Gochujang, sesame, spicy soy, and house specials, allowing for a customizable experience. One popular choice is the BBQ chicken with veggies in a hot stone bowl, though portions may be small for the price. The tofu bowl in a hot stone pot with all the toppings looks amazing and stays hot for a long time, but some find the rice a bit too oily. The self-serve topping bar adds a fun element to the meal. Spring rolls are a tasty surprise, crispy and flavorful. The ambiance is decent, though the floor can be slippery, so caution is advised. The place is casual and works well for quick lunch or dinner, with friendly staff and an easy ordering process at a screen. Overall, Burning Rice provides a decent dining experience, though it may not reach the heights of its past reputation.
