a nice place but also didn't get my order right, i was the only person there. so that was frustrating. also. the omelet was not good, and not an omelet, just a scrambled egg with stuff piled around it, not great. not worth the money, but my kid got some free pancakes, w no syrup. super dry. bro did not want to be at work.

Early morning at the hospital waiting for a relative to get out of surgery and we wanted to grab a quick bite for breakfast. We googled and this place was a short 5 minute walk! It was exactly what we were wanting! We didn’t wait to be seated, our server was prompt and friendly and our food did not take long at all! Also, the Chai was on point!

Open 24 hours. Usually come here at 2:30 am or at dawn for breakfast. Serve-yourself coffee bar is always hot and fresh and refills are free. The food is beyond good and prices are quite reasonable, especially for Deep Ellum. The chicken and waffles are the best I've ever had or even seen! The omelets are extremely good also. I highly recommend both. Everything on the menu is good. I eat here all the time, and I've been coming here for 20 years.

The organization of this restaurant is nonexistent. You walk in and have no idea whether to order at the counter or sit down - it’s very confusing.
There is one waitress with glasses who smiles a lot. She is wonderful. Very cheerful and kind.
There is another waitress with a mask and baseball cap. She clearly hates her job. She was rude and dismissive to us AND the people at the table next to us. I’ve never encountered such a sourly server.

I was very skeptical about this place based on the mixed reviews and type of restaurant (24/7 breakfast) so my expectations were definitely lower. It’s also 5:30am.
Let me just say…EXTREMELY blown away by the quick delivery, warm food, and delicious dishes.
We got the banana bread French toast and the flavours were flavouring, the sweetness was great, and the fresh fruit and walnuts balanced it out really well.
We also got the chocolate chip pancakes, which was everything you’d expect when ordering good chocolate chip pancakes.
For sides, we got the rosemary potatoes (fire) and bacon (perfectly cooked).
This might be one of those places where it’s a hit or miss based on what you order but they’ve got the classics down (such as French toast and pancakes).

Decided to stop in during our stay in Dallas over the weekend. Was recommended this place by a friend and decided to check it out. The food was good but the service was subpar. Made an offhand comment about it being our first time and still didn’t get the best service.
We weren’t greeted when entering or leaving, just told to sit wherever. Ordered a speciality coffee but never received it, the waiter clearly forgot and never mentioned it. Thankfully it wasn’t added to our bill. We also had to get up and go to the counter to ask for more napkins as none were ever brought out. Our waiter came to our table a total of maybe three times during our meal. My friend got a refill but I did not.
