One of my favorite spots in Dallas. Café Duro nails that perfect mix of Euro café charm and local neighborhood energy. Coffee’s legit, pastries are dangerously good (don’t skip the ham and cheese croissant), and the space feels both classy and cozy. Great for solo laptop time or catching up with friends. Staff is always on point—friendly without the fake vibe. Bonus: the patio is a hidden gem when the weather’s decent.

Super cute place, the banana horchata matcha latte and za’atar croissant were excellent!

I love to order a banana or chata matcha as well as the espresso. It is utterly delicious, and every time perfect. I haven't tried anything else but I can totally vouch for those two items.

Got the cortado and it was perfectly sweet and strong! I don’t like coffee that’s sweet usually, cuz it more than often overpowers the espresso, but this drink was still strong <3. Totally, recommend it. As for the food, I got the caesar salad with chicken, a little overpriced, the taste was okay, I will say though you do get quite a lot of chicken with it (then again I paid $7 extra for it). I would also like to note that they have no seating in the actual coffee shop. There is a patio, you have to go outside, right next to the shop area, and it has ample seating.

We went to Cafe Duro this morning and have been multiple times before. We like the food but feel like the experience is getting worse or very hit or miss to say the least. At 8:30 this morning, they were already out of the breakfast pizza, and were serving all drinks in to go cups instead of the usual nice drink-ware. We bought a $10 yogurt parfait that previously came in a nice bowl and was presented well. We were told that it now comes in a clear solo cup with oatmeal in the lid for the same price. For me you lose about 50% of the enjoyment eating and drinking from plastic to go cups, as opposed to the nice drink-ware and plates. It used to feel like an upscale coffee shop with high-quality food, and it’s moving towards a Starbucks to go experience for more money.

Great service and atmosphere. Coffee is flavorful with a gentle jolt. Chocolate biscotti is the best, I highly recommend it!

Went in to try the banana horchata latte on a Saturday morning. We went around 8 am and were the only customers at the time. I was not greeted by any of the staff. I went up to the register, said hello and got nothing. It made it awkward to order. I placed my order and the only question I was asked was “do you want it iced?” I said yes and the cashier just turned the pay pad around and again said nothing. Was a really weird encounter and it felt like he was annoyed I was there. Drink was amazing but customer service was trash.

I 1000% agree with the other person that said that the morning person is just generally unpleasant and always seems like he’s in a bad mood and just rolled out of bed. The wait time is insane on a weekday morning when people have places to be. I recently started coming here again after Keith Lee reviewed it. But honestly think I’m gonna stop coming back. The service is below subpar. Also now they’re charging an additional whole two dollars for a small amount extra of the banana Horchata mix which would bring the Matcha to over nine dollars. If you’re going to charge luxury price points then service, quality control, and efficiency needs to also be the standard in your business. It’s a shame because I think that the banana Horchata is genuinely one of my favorite drinks In the DFW area and use to recommend this place all the time, but I do not anymore.

The breakfast pizza is quite heavy, messy, and difficult to eat in the cramped environment of this cafe. Its gravy sauce also left a pretty gross aftertaste in my mouth that gave me the idea the gravy was maybe a day or two old.

The place is cool and well decorated but there are like 2 standing tables, so expect to take your stuff to go.

Drinks: We ordered the banana horchata espresso drink and the prickly pear matcha. These were good, but I expected more banana flavor, the banana was imperceptible.

Classy and elegant little cafe with quality lattes, the aesthetic and presentation makes you feel whisked away to Milan.

I was really excited to check out Cafe Duro—such a cute, vibey European-style cafe with beautiful bistro tables and a marble bar that seemed perfect for working or enjoying a coffee. But when I arrived, I was surprised to see they had removed all their seating. When I asked where to sit, they told me to take my drink and pastry next door to a different restaurant. Honestly, that completely missed the mark for me. I came for this cafe, not to awkwardly carry my order into a different space that has a totally different vibe. It feels like they’re losing out on a lot of daytime customers with this confusing and poorly thought-out setup. Really disappointed, especially since the space itself has so much potential. Ended up walking down the street to Halcyon which actually has seating.
