I usually love this place and make a point to visit every time I’m back in Dallas. Unfortunately, my experience today wasn’t the best and left a disappointing impression. My drink was much sweeter than expected, and when I asked for help, the barista didn’t seem very welcoming. I hope this was just an off day, as I’ve always enjoyed coming here. :(
One of my favorite spots in Dallas. Café Duro nails that perfect mix of Euro café charm and local neighborhood energy. Coffee’s legit, pastries are dangerously good (don’t skip the ham and cheese croissant), and the space feels both classy and cozy. Great for solo laptop time or catching up with friends. Staff is always on point—friendly without the fake vibe. Bonus: the patio is a hidden gem when the weather’s decent.

Mushroom grilled cheese: This was so yummmy!! The bread comes perfectly crispy and buttery. There were tons of mushrooms and creamy flavor. By far one of the best grilled cheeses I ever had.
