It is time for this location to CLOSE. I went in for dinner tonight and after opening the door I was immediately hit with the smell of sewer gas. This place has a definite sewer or plumbing issue and it is disgusting. I mentioned it to the young lady at the counter and she didn't seem to care. I noticed the smell was worse near the drink station. Against my better judgement I ordered a pasta dish and I couldn't eat it because the odor in the restaurant was so nauseating. Either repair what is every causing that odor or close your restaurant.

Slow service. Worse, last time I was there, found the cashier standing right next to the kitchen was sick, sneezing... she admitted she was sick. How could this restaurant and the manager let a sick employee working in a restaurant?!!!! Could get to customers' foods and get others sick. Not right.

DO NOT EAT HERE EVER!!!!! They leave the food out where people can cough and sneeze on it, and that is exactly what happened to ours. A little girl was standing there while her mother was talking to the lady at the counter, and she SNEEZED RIGHT ON OUR FOOD!!!! The lady at the counter DID NOT EVEN NOTICE!!!!! They acted like it was a big imposition to make our food over, and I don't even trust that they did. I should have demanded a refund and left - I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!!

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! They set your food out when it is ready RIGHT IN FRONT OF WHERE OTHER PEOPLE PLACE THEIR ORDERS. We were waiting for our food today and a little girl SNEEZED ALL OVER IT!!!! LITERALLY. Just pointed her freaking nose at the counter and let go!!! We called that to the lady's attention (she was standing right there talking to her mother and did not even notice), and they acted like it was a big imposition to re-do the order. I'm not even sure that they did - everything there is already made and all they had to do was heat some more up, but it wouldn't surprise me if they just threw it in the microwave (or did nothing). I should have demanded my money back and left. They are UNSANITARY, and they probably let RATS vomit on the food in the kitchen. I am NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN!!!! Its GROSS, GROSS, GROSS!!!!

Great place, huge on the inside. I love the retro softdrink machine??. But when you use the directions to get there it takes to the other end of plaza.? had to walk so far. Wasnt in the plaza at all, it was on the end but still connected.

This location does not handle deliveries well. I placed an order on DoorDash as soon as they opened at 10:30am, asking for delivery asap. I ordered two salads with chicken and one grilled chicken with 2 veggies. Delivery was supposed to be by 11:20am at the latest - which would have been 50 minutes after order time. I called the restaurant at 11:17am because the driver had been onsite but not left for several minutes and it was supposed to be delivered by 11:20am. The woman I spoke to said that they were grilling the asparagus for the grilled chicken item and it would be 5 more minutes till the food was ready. I was texting with the DoorDash driver at the same time and he also told me he was at the restaurant and the food was not ready. So I ran across the street to the deli in the next office building and grabbed salads and a grilled chicken with sides - as the food I ordered from Cafe Express was for a business meeting that had to start and end at exact time - an extremely important meeting with an equity partner - so time was of the essence. While I was walking over to the deli, I called Cafe Express back to just say cancel the whole order and the man I spoke to LIED to me and said the food had been picked up long ago and that I was incorrect that the Cafe Express was late in preparing the food, he was a lying j**** Thank goodness I walked to the deli and got food from there too, because when the food from Cafe Express finally showed up, one of the salads was missing the grilled chicken that I paid extra to add to it. When someone orders the minute your location opens asking for delivery asap, they need delivery ASAP! And Cafe Express was the reason it was late, not DoorDash. There are literally hundreds of restaurants in Dallas, you drop the ball once I will never order from you again, and I order hundreds of dollars of food for our company each month. In addition, Cafe Express also charged me for something that they did not include in my meal and were still LATE in preparing it! Which is inexcusable and we will never spend money at this location again.

I always get the chicken deli here. For some reason it always smells like methane in the dining room.
I had to wait a longtime for my order. The actual burger and flies were average at best. Oh well. You have to kiss a lot of frogs

second time trying cafe express and i’m speechless over the great customer service they have, the manager was super helpful with menu options and flavors their is, they also serve wine which is an extra star! amazing food, can’t wait to come again and try other items from the menu.

What happened? This place used to be great and we would do takeout, but more often than not lately our orders are wrong. Today was the last straw when our pasta with chicken came without chicken (yet we were charged for it), and with very little sauce and few artichokes. My grilled chicken breast was also super dry, and cold. We're done, this place has gone so downhill, it's sad.
