We always feel so welcome at this restaurant. Food is fantastic, service is wonderful, and we never feel rushed.
Great food. Great service. 1/2 price wine night put it over the top! Can't wait to go back!
I wish Cafe Izmir was closer to my home as I would be picking up takeout on a regular basis. The food is just so special. Truly my favorite. Their seasoning is perfection. Their hummus superb. The service was a bit slow There were only two of us, and they sat us next to a very large table, which was very noisy. I will still go back for the food.
Has served the community for 30 years. The food was as good as advertised. The hummus was fresh with just enough of an interesting spice, the shrimp fixed three different ways was a great choice. Too bad we live so far away, or we would frequent the restaurant on a regular basis.
Wonderful food and atmosphere! We had the hummus kawarma, saffron chicken, and beef kabobs, as well as Turkish coffee, and everything was excellent!
I always look forward to dinner at Cafe Izmir. From the moment I walk in, it feels warm and welcoming—like I’m visiting friends. There’s a real charm in the way the food smells, the staff treats you, and the place makes conversation flow easily. If you want tasty Med tapas and a place to slow down, Izmir’s got that mood.

I believe the chicken I ate was undercooked or raw. I thought it was chewy and was curious when eating but I was starving and didn't think much about it.
I honestly just thought the Chicken Tapas was the not the menu item for me. Fast forward to 6:00 AM this morning and I am having terrible bathroom problems that could literally only be related to the chicken I ate. I spent good money at this restaurant just for the food to be underwhelming and eventually make me sick.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Too many other good restaurants in the area to waste your time here.

One of the best restaurants dallas has had for several years! We celebrated our daughters sweet 16 there just like we have since she was little girl. The staff will treat you like family and the food is always outstanding.
This was my first time here. My sister's job had ordered from here. I had a very nice time. The food was really good. The staff was very attentive. It's rather small so I highly suggest making reservations. They had a musician playing and I really enjoyed that!

I have been coming here since 1998, and the waiter Nik has done an amazing job the entire time. He's truly an extraordinary guy and he makes the entire experience even better. It's also some of the best food in Dallas... Definitely the best hummus I've had in the United States, especially if you get the hot peppers with it, and I absolutely loved their Turkish coffee.
The food was delicious with tons of left overs! The chipotle hummus, beef piroshki, and the lamb roll were our absolute favorites, but everything that came out of the kitchen was outstanding!
Our waiter Omar was an absolute wealth of knowledge and one of the friendliest people we have ever met in the service industry. His storytelling and hospitality, paired with his fantastic food recommendations made for a great evening!
This is definitely a must-go place, and if you are lucky enough to have someone like Omar taking care of you, you will probably order that delicious Turkish coffee at the end of the meal just to stick around a little longer. We will definitely be returning!

This place is a hidden gem! We had the dinner for two special and the dessert special, and absolutely everything was amazing. The Turkish coffee (coming from two people who don’t drink coffee) is a must-try!
