The cake I ordered for my sister‘s 60th birthday exceeded my expectations in every way! The ordering went smoothly, communication was great, and the cake itself could not have been better. I asked for fall colors and decor and it looked amazing. The cake was so moist and the buttercream frosting delicious. My daughter and I (both vegan) loved it and my non-vegan siblings loved it just as much. We also picked up a savory croissant when we picked up the cake. It was so so good! We will visit this bakery every time we’re in Denver!

Very Friendly staff! $7 a slice is a great deal for the portion you get. We will be back when we are in Dallas again.

I was a loyal customer get most of my bday cakes from here and the Cake balls were not done and distasteful, I called spoke with manager she didn’t want to take no responsibility said that there cake balls are gummy. I’m a cook and a baker and never had gummy cake balls and where my guest said they were very distasteful. I probably wouldn’t have left a review if they would have taken some accountability and:or just listened to there customer concerns,

I'm not sure what happened, but the cake is not as good as the first two times I had it a year ago. I recently visited their new location (the old one was in Trinity Groves) and got a slice of the wedding cake and a lemon pound cake.
The lemon pound cake was dry, flavorless, and chewy—where was the lemon? The wedding cake, which used to be my favorite, was DRY, tasting like it had been made seven days ago and just left in the fridge to go stale and crumble.
The only redeeming factor was the icing—it’s good, like a whipped, light buttercream, which is my favorite.
The cake slices are a decent size, but for $7, they should be giving something more. I’m not sure if I care to go back, which is a shame because the cake used to be amazing. Honestly, I’ve had better cake from Kroger and Target. The place still has potential given its history, but no one wants to pay all that money for a cake that tastes like it’s been collecting dust. The slice I was given was definitely made with hate.

WHY would I waste my time cooking cakes for just me when I can drive to this location and buy a slice? She makes the best Hummingbird Cake that I have ever tasted! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I will keep driving from Red Oak to 35N & Inwood to have a slice. It's well worth the drive!!! Y'all please try it! Try something here! Guarantee that you will be hooked on her delicious delicacies...???umm, umm, good!???

Hello, so I sent my son in there for an interview and the manager had such a bad attitude, from the phone call to the in person interview. Just very rude. And then she was very sexist, telling my son that she doesn’t typically hire men, as if just because the job is pastries, he’s not capable of working there. The staff was very polite, but that manager needs to work on her attitude.

Delicious!
I got a cake for my husband’s birthday, and it was the best Red Velvet cake we have ever tasted. The cake was moist on the inside and full of flavor. We didn’t realize the store closes at 6 PM on Sunday and we arrived at 6:07. They kindly waited for us to arrive. It’s hard to find good cakes, so I’ll definitely order again!

What happened? Did they change ownership? The cake was so dry.. the old location was better
Every one has been telling me about Cake ? Bar!!! Well, I'm here and I'm pleasantly surprised! This cake (I came for one slice and left with 4 slices) is like that of my grandmother. Seriously, I stopped a quick moment just to taste my one slice before driving off and ended up staying, eating and talking with others as if it were Christmas dinner. I'm a chocolate ? cake girl, and theirs is amazing. However, the strawberry ? cake will keep me coming back ?. I'm hooked!!!
