Never can go wrong with stopping by Captain D's! Used to eat this as a child and so glad they are still up and going. Stopped by before the lunch rush and fish was just dropped for a perfect order. Hot and steamy 2 piece battered fish with fries, hush puppies, & cole slaw. Nothing is new or remodeled about this location, possibly the original speaker box in the drive thru and I just LOVE it!!!! A sudden reminder of growing up here! Now, I'm about to dig in!

I tried Captain D’s food for the first time through a Door Dash order. I ordered fried shrimp and fried clam strips. I asked in the comments for no red sauce, but I asked for extra tartar sauce. When the food arrived, there was no tartar sauce. Totally ruined the meal. As far as I can tell, the food was prepared well, but I can’t eat seafood without tartar sauce. I am very disappointed.
