I was really looking forward to Caribbean food today. I felt disappointed in the food even though I has a great conversation with the guy at the register. I'm thinking maybe Trini food isn't my thing. I know the Islands all have various ways they prepare the same types of food. Today I got oxtail and curry chicken. I expected stewed oxtail in a gravy. I got dry oxtail that was maybe oven roasted? it also tasted like Allspice was in the seasoning. They were tender but...
I visited this restaurant many times. I had the jerk chicken, curry chicken, oxtail, and curry goat. One cannot go wrong with any dish offered here. The portions are massive and one will not leave hungry or dissatisfied. I highly recommend Caribbean Cabana .
I picked up a dinner to go with jerk chicken, spinach, Mac n cheese, rice&peas and plantains. I sure have been missing out! Very tasty authentic good and the chicken just falls off the bone! Not only that! The service is excellent & Im going to have 2 meals with this generous portion!
